Story
Luna is a very loving and people friendly 4 1/2 year old Portuguese Water Dog. We purchased her from a local breeder at 2 months old. She has been a healthy dog and has always had updated vaccinations and vet care. She has not had any serious illnesses or injuries. Luna is house trained and has been trained to walk well on a leash and consistently responds to “sit”, down”and stay commands. Luna is crate trained and prefers to be in her crate when left alone at home. But Luna is sweet natured, and very affectionate. She loves to snuggle and be petted and to be in the company of humans and other dogs as much as she can be. She is active and loves to be outside, go for hikes, play “fetch” with sticks, balls and can even catch a small frisbee. We love Luna but work very long hours and are gone daily from 10-12 hours on average, which has been hard for a very social and active dog. We are looking for a person/family who loves dogs and is often home to play and enjoy a great dog.
