Story
This happy girl is Jasmine! Jasmine and several other dogs made their way to Brave after their breeder could "no longer care for them" and was looking to downsize their operation. Jasmine quickly figured out how great pet life can be and she immediately leaned into all of the perks. Treats? YES, PLEASE! A basket of toys? She'll play with them all! Cozy beds and snuggles? Life couldn't be better. Jasmine is extremely food motivated. She loves playing with and hoarding her toys. She loves her foster parents and spending time outside. Jasmine is bonded to her "sister" Ivy. Ivy loves Jasmine, but she doesn't need her in the same way Jasmine NEEDS Ivy. To help them transition into their forever home, we would love for these precious girls to be adopted together. House trained: Doing well! Jasmine and Ivy both love going outside to potty and play. They are very good about using their washable pee pads in the house.Leash trained: Both are working on it. Jasmine is much more comfortable with it and can be motivated by food.Kennel trained: Yes, the foster currently has a pen with beds and pee pad set up for them when we leave the house and at night. They prefer this to smaller kennels. Rides well in a car: YesGood with other dogs: Yes, good with all other dogs big and smallGood with cats: Haven’t tested but I would imagine they would do wellGood with young children (under 10): Yes, very sweet with small children they will steal snacks if they are accessibleShy or confident: Jasmine is very confident once she got comfortable. Ivy is slowly getting more comfortable and building her confidence up.Barks: Jasmine will bark only when she wants food or if Ivy is not around. We have not heard a sound from Ivy yet.Apartment qualified: Yes Jasmine is a 16 lb Coton de Tulear born on 2-2-2015. She is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $200 (or $300 for both Ivy and Jasmine) which helps cover the cost of vetting procedures. Adoptable pets will have received age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, heartworm test (if applicable) and a spay/neuter. If you’re interested in adopting this puppy/dog, please submit an inquiry or email BraveAnimalRescue@gmail.com to ask about our adoption process (please check your spam or junk email if you do not hear back from us within a few business days). We are 100% volunteer staffed and will respond to your email as soon as possible. After you have submitted an and been approved, we will set up a meet and greet between you and the puppy/dog. She is a true lap dog and the best snuggle buddy. She will be your shadow, happily following you wherever you go. She loves spending time outside and she opens up more and more each day. Story
THIS POST WILL BE REMOVED WHEN THE DOG IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. INQUIRIES ABOUT THE ADOPTION STATUS WILL NOT BE RETURNED. Jaxx is a 6 year old male Coton de Tulear who has retired from his breeding days and is ready to spend his days roaming your yard, lying in the sunbeams, and relaxing on the sofa. He is doing well with house training when kept on a schedule and is learning to enjoy his daily leash walks through the neighborhood. He will thrive in a low-key home with a fenced yard and a resident dog as a canine companion and mentor. Jaxx is up to date on vaccinations, has been neutered and had a dental cleaning, is microchipped and parasite free. Oh, and he appears to have befriended the feral cat that his foster mom feeds daily! He's ready to join your family now! The suggested adoption donation for Jaxx is a minimum of $450 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise. Please note, invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment. Adoption applications can be found at www.wagntrainterrierrescue.com/adoption-information
