Story
Ummm have you ever seen a cat that looks like Brillo? Only if you're familiar with the Cornish Rex breed. Cornish Rex cats are known for their soft, curly hair, big ears and loving, people-oriented personalities. Brillo obviously got her name because she looks just like a brillo pad, or a dry sponge. She's very photogenic and very instagrammable!! Brillo is very, very playful and has seemingly endless energy which she will spend playing with her sibilings and cuddling up to her human.
Brillo would love to be adopted with her sister Brinley. They're two peas in a pod. But at the very least, she must go to a home with another young cat for her to play with, or with another kitten from her current foster home (Caroline, Chip, Cybil, or Calvin). Brillo loves other cats, is great with older kids and doesn't mind the small resident dog.
She loves toys, especially the automated one that have balls or some other thing that moves unexpectedly to keep her attention. She loves the cat dancer toy and will chase that for a long time! But her greatest interest may be human hair! Do you have long hair, ideally in a ponytail!? Brillo would love to play with it! She'll jump up your back and tousle your hair. Don't worry, it doesn't hurt! It's just a silly kitten playing with something she thinks is fun. Who knows if this habit will last!
All in all, Brillo is an easy and fun bet with the weirdest and coolest coat in all of Chicago! Adopt her before someone else does!
