Story
Imelda is a gentle, light tabby girl who takes her time getting comfortable, especially around new people and cats. Once she feels safe, her playful side emerges—she enjoys chasing and interacting, though she can become defensive if play gets too intense. Imelda truly prefers human companionship and is happiest snuggled nearby on a cozy blanket, soaking up quiet affection. Formerly bonded with her brother Irkle, Imelda has learned to stand on her own and can thrive either as an only cat or in a calm, respectful feline household.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Hope Hope spent years living outside the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Property Room. While kind people made sure she was fed, life outdoors became harder as she got older. Her eyesight and hearing began to fade, and she lost a lot of weight. That’s when it was time for a rescue to step in — and we were honored to welcome this sweet girl into our care. Hope is finally safe, warm, and loved. She’ll never have to face scorching heat, freezing cold, or stormy nights again. She is partially deaf and blind, but that doesn’t stop her from being incredibly gentle and loving. Hope also has early Stage 1 kidney failure, which simply means she needs a special kidney diet and routine lab checks every six months. Aside from that, she received a clean bill of health! After everything she’s been through, Hope deserves a soft bed, a warm home, and a family who will cherish her for the rest of her days. If you would like to give this beautiful, deserving girl the loving home she’s waited so long for, please submit an application.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 12, 2026, 1:11 pm
