Story
Hello, hello! If you are judging us by our photos, then you might as well move on to the next adoption profile and pick yourself some more chill cat. We are a posh pair seeking the most snobbish household with owners (as if…) ready to treat us like the Kings we are. If you can’t tell, our fur needs a little tender love and care. Also known as a gentle thorough brushing and some delicious cat food full of nutrients and lipids to really let our coats shine and help us glow up to our full potential. We are large but not-so-in-charge. We are timid with strangers but easily warm up to a gentle ear scratch, crunchy and soft treats, a gentle brush, or soft pet on the head for reassurance. While Verbena might hiss in your face the second you turn towards him, this sound is more likely to startle you (for happening upon him) than to make you intimidated of him. A reassuring ear scratch and a treat or two and he will be rubbing against you for pets. We are going through a hard time. Our former owner passed away, and we have been thrust into an unfamiliar foster home. We are seeking a new forever home that we can retire in. It might take us a moment to adjust and a little assistance with our hygiene routine (just our fur coats, we know where to relieve ourselves…don’t insult us). We would love an adopter that can commit to giving us the lush life we deserve (that is not a Zara Larsson pun, but you can put butterfly clips in our fur if you want! Just help us get a nice brush and fluff before!) Anyway, if we scared you off with our requests, good. We are looking for the most adoring adopter that will make us feel like the center of their world. We love a lavish life and we are the sweetest prettiest meowiest lover boys anyone could desire. Apply if you dare. See more on IG @adoptmemeow foster: erch Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These 'guardian cats' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under) $125 for cats (older than 6 months) $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time. PLEASE NOTE: The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter. Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets. Here is some interesting info on breed identification: https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! December 21, 2025, 3:58 pm
