So, usually the pair, Bonnie and Clyde are running AWAY from people, right?? WELL, NOT US!!! We were found on the side of the road running TOWARDS the rescuers! Skinny and sad and STARVING we were just waiting for the right people to stop and save us :) We went straight to the rescue and are loving the life of a rescued pup... of course, we are ready to steal away to YOUR house any.time...... ;) We are big pups with lots of growing to do, we will be the size of the coonhound versus a lab. Our ears kind of give us away.... AND they lead us in the right direction, cause we can channel the moon if we want :) Either one of us would fill your home with love and houndy barks, we are built for adventure so if you are looking for a partner in crime aka adventure; we are ready!!! Adopt one of us soon!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Hi to my future adopter, I am Lady, yes because I am such a Lady.   I am 2 years old and 57 lbs, Coonhound mix.   You would never believe I came from a very not so nice past. My foster mommy will tell you that I am very sweet and cuddly. I am up to date on all my shots and spayed.   I absolutely love being pet and cuddle with my humans.   I won over my foster brothers pretty quickly as who cannot resist me.  I would do great in a home with older kids, as I love to get little mouthy when playing.   My foster mom says you turn your back and I will understand and stop.   I am good around other dogs and bearded dragons.  Not sure about cats.  I do love to play chase and run with my foster brothers and chew hard bones.  A fenced in yard is a must, shoot I am a coonhound and will run after any animal that passes through.   I do walk on leash but would do better with a freedom harness, because I do pull some.   I know sit and I do stay, but you may have to repeat a little louder, do not mean to shout, just where I understand.   I come right in when called. I’m crate trained, I am only in the crate for bedtime and when my foster human goes out.   She says I get into trouble with chewing. I always need a toy around or will be creative. I am potty trained, however, going into a new house, I will probably have accidents, so please be patient, because when I understand where to go out, I will let you know by a whining, it is up to you to decipher what I am whining about, sorry.   Due to my past, no shock collars or prong collars, like humans will bring back bad memories.   I am looking for a loving home, could it be yours.   Can not wait to kiss you and hug you all the time.       ##2331892##

Pet Helpers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foster based volunteer rescue located in Fairmont, WV.  We do adopt out of state to approved applicants, if you are willing to drive to WV to pick up your pet.  We do not fly or use transport companies.  Our adoption fee is $150.00 for mixed breed puppies and adult dogs, $225.00 for full blooded puppies and adult dogs and $50.00 for cats and kittens.  Regardless if the animal is a mixed breed or full blooded they are spayed/neutered prior to adoption IF they are old enough.  If they are too young at the time of adoption, then it is your financial responsibility to spay/neuter the pet by the age of 6 months and you must provide proof for our files that it has been done.  All of our pets are checked by a vet, given the shots appropriate for their age and any other treatment deemed necessary by the vet.  All of our pets are adopted as indoor pets and are not be outdoors tied to a box 24/7.  The pet you are adopting has been living in a home with a foster family.  You are expected to take possession of the pet you are applying for within a few days of application approval.  This will enable us to accept another pet into that home.  Because we are a rescue, and believe that spaying and neutering is crucial in stopping the reproduction of unwanted puppies/kittens and massive amounts of animals dying daily in shelters across the country, we expect any animal already in your home to be spayed/neutered. If for any reason you are unable to keep the pet you have adopted you are required to return them to Pet Helpers, Inc.  They are not to be sold or given away.   Check us out on Facebook!!!!!!  We hope you will give us two paws up, like our page and share with your friends.  Pet Helpers, Inc.
