Humphrey is a happy-go-lucky pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This confident, goofy, and slightly clumsy boy loves to play, whether it's romping around with other dogs or entertaining himself with toys. He has the wrinkled face, droopy eyes & ginormous ears of a Basset Hound, but the body & legs of a Coonhound. While he hasn’t been tested with kids yet, he adores every human he meets and hasn’t paid much attention to the resident cat. When he’s not busy being a bundle of energy, Humphrey is a champion cuddler who’s always ready to snuggle up for some love. He’s still working on potty training, but he’s learning! Due to his natural hound instinct to bay, he is not suited for apartment life. He would do best with lots of room to romp in a fenced yard or acreage. Humphrey is a growing male Coonhound/mix who was was born approximately 111-10-24 . He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $600 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. ***If interested in adopting one of our available dogs or puppies, you must first complete an online adoption application at https://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/ Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by our adoption team who will then email you from DollysLegacyAdoptions@gmail.com. Harper is a happy, playful hound with an irresistible freckled snout and a personality as sweet as she is spunky. Rescued from Kansas alongside her siblings, she’s now in Nebraska, learning the ropes of home life with her foster family. She adores playing with other dogs but is just as content entertaining herself when needed. While she hasn’t been tested with kids or cats, she loves every adult she meets. Harper has a mix of energy—whether she’s dashing around the house collecting toys (or the occasional stray sock) or curling up on the couch for a Frasier rerun. She’s still working on potty training and leash skills but improves daily and would thrive with a patient adopter ready to continue her crate training. While she’s not suited for apartment living due to her vocal nature in the kennel, she’d make a wonderful companion in a home with or without other pets. Whether she’s romping around or snuggling up, Harper is sure to bring joy to her forever family! Harper is a growing female Coonhound/mix who was was born approximately 111-10-24 . Harlow is an active, curious girl. She is no couch potato. Harlow loves being with other dogs, she doesn't have any idea of personal space. She bounces around like a Tigger and goes from toy to toy. She doesn't like to be held still but she will sit while bring loved. Harlow  is an energetic puppy who gets along great with dogs and kids. She hasn't yet met a kitty while in our care. She is doing great with potty training and will need to continue that training in her new home. She would thrive in a home where she has another playful dog and a fenced yard to explore and romp in. True to her breed, she is a hound who loves to bay and sing the songs of her ancestors, so apartment life would not suit her. Harlow is a happy pup who play hard and follows it up with sleeping hard.
