Colt is a strikingly handsome male coon-hound mix with a gorgeous tri-color coat. This sweet and inquisitive boy is ready to explore the world. With his curious nose and a love for adventure, Colt will keep you on your toes and be the perfect companion for your outdoor excursions. Colt is as loving as he is curious, always eager to check out new scents and surroundings. Like any young hound, he’ll benefit from a bit of guidance and training, but with patience and consistency, he’s sure to blossom into an incredibly loyal, well-mannered friend. Colt is looking for a family who’ll give him plenty of opportunities to explore, play, and learn! Colt’s $200 Adoption Fee is a great deal. He is neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, wormed & current on monthly heartworm preventative. Colt’s estimated month of birth is 10/2023. Story
We adopted Lily, a tripod Coonhound mix, from the humane society almost four months ago. Shes incredibly sweet, loving, and intelligent. Initially, she struggled with decompression but has shown significant improvement with crate training and a low dose of trazodone. Unfortunately, she attacked our senior yorkie during playtime. Resulting in puncture wounds and leaving our senior dog scared. While Lily plays well with dogs her size, she would thrive in a home without small dogs to ensure everyone's safety. She has never shown any aggression to people. Lily is crate trained, and we have successfully taught her commands like sit, wait, leave it, and bed. However, she doesn't consistently respond to all commands, indicating that she would benefit from further training. Lily is an incredible dog; With the right home I believe she can reach her full potential as a loving companion.

Story
Kilo was a rescue dog that I adopted when he was one years old. He loves to be outside and take naps. He has the classic Coondog howl and his nose leads the way. I am not sure what happened before I adopted him but he can be anxious. Especially during storms. He likes treats.
