Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. EmmyLou is a sweet, loving, and playful companion who adores being close to her people. She loves a cozy spot on the couch—especially one with a view—and is a fantastic snuggler who will happily sleep by your feet at night. A true lap dog, she wants to be where you are when you're home. She enjoys other dogs and is a playful but mostly submissive friend. A home with a calm canine companion would help boost her confidence. She also appreciates having a quiet retreat throughout the day. EmmyLou is great on a leash and knows commands like sit, stay, lie down, and come. She’s very trainable and loves working for treats. She enjoys toys, especially squeaky ones, and even loves chasing a laser pointer like a cat! Puzzle toys keep her engaged, and she’s learning commands like “go to your bed.” EmmyLou eats best when her person is nearby and thrives on large breed puppy food. She is fully potty trained, responds to "go potty," and has an adorable habit of sneaking outside when given the chance. EmmyLou loves backyard zoomies and needs a securely fenced yard to keep her safe, as she’s incredibly fast. EmmyLou has a special bond with older children and shows great loyalty. She is an intelligent and affectionate dog who completed puppy training and loves to learn. Her beautiful build, curious playfulness, and loving nature make her an amazing lifelong companion. Any family would be lucky to have her! If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application.
