You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi There! The name is Moose   Since you’re reading this, you’re obviously looking for a new best friend—and, hey, so am I!  I don’t care how old you are or what you look like, but in case those things matter to you, I’m approximately 4 months old and that’s me in the picture with all the pretty little spots, soft fur & the cutest carmel brown eyes you’ve ever seen!  My perfect match would be someone who loves feeding me ice from the funny looking box that human food stays in to keep cold!  Or even someone who loves to play & snuggle right after! I don’t mean to brag, but people tell me I’m the cutest thing they have ever seen. I’m basically a local celebrity When I’m not being admired or admiring your every move, I’d love to be playing with other dogs. I don’t mind cats, but they never seem to want to play with me!  I’m still learning boundaries & what’s the words.. “personal space” whatever that means! I sometimes can be cautious of new things & people. But usually after I get a good sniff of whatever or whoever, it makes me feel a-lot better! (Except for this scary sounding thing that picks up all the dirt off the floor, I loathe that thing!!!) My foster home is on a farm & I love to sit on the back porch with the tiny humans and watch all the farm animals in the field! My foster mom says I’m a good leaner & working hard at going potty outside. I love treats and toys & being told I’m a good boy!! So, what do you say? Story
Hello, This is Ford. My wife and I adopted Ford from a shelter out of northern Indiana last Thanksgiving, so November 2024. We had adopted Ford to give our current coon hound, Hank, someone to play with in our new house with our new big yard. They seemed to like each other well enough at the start, and still do for the most part (sometimes they get a little rowdy in the backyard, but no biting or anything aggressive). However, he has a never ending supply of energy, running through the house and bothering Hank when he is resting or sleeping, but more importantly, making it not safe for our young daughter, who is just learning to walk. Ford is house trained and has a 3X/day feeding routine. He loves his food. This is one of the problems we are having with him. While we feed him a healthy helping 3x/day, he will bark at my wife throughout the day to try and get more food. He is a snuggle dog though. If you want a dog to snuggle up with on the couch or in bed, he would love that.

Story
Duckie is a 2 year old Coonhound She is 37 pounds of cuteness. This girl has been through the wringer. She was so scared when she arrived but she is warming up. She loves the other dogs and is starting to play with them. Her best friend in the rescue is Dorie a 7 month old Rottweiler. She loves to be outside with her playmates. Her favorite outside toy is chewing on sticks and playing tug-a-war with them. When she is ready to come in she lets out a few barks. She is potty trained and crate trained. She is on an eating schedule. Which persist to 2 times a day. She is a gentle grazer with her meals. Duckie needs a family who can take it slow with her and give her the time she needs to warm up. Duckie lives with a 2 year old who she does fine with but is a little scared of him and his fast movements. Dickie has also been fostered with cats which was no concern as well. Duckie is spayed and up to date on all vaccines, dewormer and Heartworm negative. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Roger is just around 5 years old! He is so snuggly and wants to be as close to you as possible. He is very smart and athletic - the hound in him is strong. He likes to hunt the small animals that end up in our backyard and is honestly pretty good at it. He does great with his older brother (7.5 year old golden retriever). He's a pretty anxious guy. He does not do great with new dogs near his home and will get very vocal and territorial. He may be able to get into a home that already has a dog if there is a good introductory period - but I am not 100% positive. He would do best without small kids around. He's been around my 2 since they were babies and haven't had a major problem but he is getting more anxious around them. He needs a family that can devote good, extensive exercise and activity time to him. He'd make a great companion somewhere with lots of space to run and explore and not get into too much trouble Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All animal breeds and ages are a best estimate April 26, 2025, 11:28 am
