Story
Please read the entire bio for this rescue, it will provide all the information that one needs to decide if they would like to apply to adopt from SCMR.Adoption fee:  $150.00   Birdie   Surprise! I bet you never expected to find me at SCMR! I'm always excited and zooming around and being goofy! It's just so good to be off the street! I'm 50+ pounds of enthusiastic Coonhound or Birddog puppy...don't know yet! I'm almost a year old so everything is new and exciting to me! And I'm a girl.   I was dumped on Signal Mountain, TN, and got picked up by a Good Samaritan who couldn't keep me. So I was about to get dumped again, but I ended up with this nice lady at SCMR who couldn't let me get re-dumped! She says I'm real smart...have learned Sit and Lie Down. But that word NO is giving me some problems. This place I'm at is pretty small and doesn't have a yard. I sure would love a big fenced yard to run in. That's a must! Hey, I'm real good at Fetch! Anybody got a couple of young boys who would play with me?    And listen to this...I'm house trained! Yep! I know what a pee pad is for. But I'm a nature-girl and really prefer the outdoors for personal business. No chip but I've had all my shots and got spayed, whatever that is! I really, REALLY want a forever family. I'm just bursting with kisses and enthusiasm. Foster mom says I'm a real sweetie when I've worked off some of my energy. She named me Birdie and I like it! I knew right off when she said it that it was my name.   Come and get me! I'm in Chattanooga, TN, tearing up all the plants in her garden and having a blast!   Adoption fee: $150.00 Out-of-state adoptions are possible; however, the approved adoptive home is responsible for making the necessary arrangements to pick up their new little one.   To be considered to adopt me, please fill out an APPLICATION.   NOTE: SCMR DOES NOT adopt to homes with children under the age of 10 years or homes with Electric Fences. You can help make a difference one dog at a time. If you would like to sponsor one of our babies, we accept online donations via PayPal or send a check to us at P.O. Box 2005, Chattanooga, TN 37409. Junior can be shy at first but he is very sweet. He seeks out attention from people and wants to give them hugs. He wants to be near people and get lots of loving. Junior is nervous about first meeting other dogs. He will play with gentle, friendly dogs but doesn't really like being around pushy or rowdy dogs.

Story
Gunnar is a handsome dude with a happy-go-lucky attitude. Almost 2 years old, Gunnar is a gentle soul who is very loving and will give face-bathing kisses until you start laughing and push him away. While a bit shy at first with new people, he'll be sure to melt your heart with a bit of patience and even demands hugs from his foster parents throughout the day. While he loves having a chasing party with his friends and playing with toys, he also equally enjoys cuddling up for a nap and prefers to spend his downtime indoors. Gunnar really thrives with a routine and once he gets the hang of it, will follow without being asked. The ideal home for Gunnar would include at least one canine sibling and a family who will take the time to train him. He is extremely smart and knows sit, leave it and off. Still, counter surfing is his favorite offense, but it's hard to be upset or give a stern face when he is wagging and bouncing around in happiness. Gunnar is around 55lbs, neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. If you have room in your home and heart for a sweet boy like Gunnar, please submit an application at WetNosesAnimalRescue.org.

Story
If you are looking for epic cuddles, Mac is your match! He insists on sleeping on the bed with his foster parents (not open for discussion!) and has a loving, kind personality. Mac is very loyal and playful pup whose dream home would include endless toys and a confident canine sibling who equally enjoys playing. A homebody, Mac enjoys hanging out inside with his foster family and foster siblings. He can be a little shy at first, but with a little bit of patience, he'll wrap his paws around your heart and give you a lifetime of snuggles and love. Mac is all ready to go home - neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Please submit an application at WetNosesAnimalRescue.org.
