It takes time to get this sweet! I’m Jack, a handsome older fella ready to spend my retirement years with you. I found my way to High Country Humane after being on my own for a while, but now I’m focused on finding the perfect place to enjoy my golden years. I’m as polite as I am charming and have plenty of love left to give—after all, love doesn’t keep track of years! I enjoy spending time outside, with hiking being one of my favorite activities. I’m fully potty trained, doggy door trained, and walk beautifully on a leash. I also know commands like sit, lie down, and come—pretty smart, right? I do well meeting new people and would thrive in a home with kids older than 12. I’d love to meet any dogs you already have, but I’d do best in a home without cats. My former foster family even discovered that I have a soft spot for Louis Armstrong jazz—it’s my go-to music to relax and unwind. 🎶 If you think I could be your next pal, come meet me! I’m here to show you just how laid-back four-legged living is done. Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. We even register the microchip for free and provide a complimentary health exam with each adoption. Don’t forget to bring a leash and collar for your new pet, or you can purchase a set at the shelter for just $5 each. The shelter is open daily from 11 AM to 5 PM. I can’t wait to meet you!
