Story
If you're looking to add a little more love & cheer to your home, we've got the sweetest little pup for you!   Meet Nila, a petite 1.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix with light strawberry blonde markings and big brown eyes.   She is a little love bug & will gently paw her humans when she wants ear scratches & pets.   Nila is very entertaining to watch with a new stuffie or chew toy. (Think Elaine dancing on that one episode of ‘Seinfeld’. Big time resemblance. )   Nila LOVES the snow & will often stick her whole face in it, coming up with a big snowy “smile”.   Nila absolutely LOVES meeting new doggie friends and needs another dog in the home to help build her confidence.   Nila walks great on leash, knows basic commands, is potty trained, and takes gentle corrections well. Car rides are her jam, where she sits nicely, observing everything before she’s lulled to sleep.   Nila will need her new family to be patient & understanding as she still startles easily. Slow introductions to new people & situations are important, where Nila can set the pace.   Please Note: Nila would greatly benefit from an owner who has flexibility in their schedule & is home more than away.   A fenced in yard would also be best for Nila’s safety, but is not a requirement.   Put in your application today to meet this little sweetheart!     You can apply for Nila at: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt   Name: Nila   DOB: 08/26/2023   Breed: Cattle Dog mix   Sex: Female   Weight: 34 lbs   Altered: Yes   Adoption: 400   Good with cats: I'm unsure.   Good with dogs: Yes, other dogs have helped me build confidence.   Good with kids: I’ve been good with the respectful kids I’ve met!   Special Requirements: Another dog in the home   *Positive reinforcement obedience training is a great way to bond with your new family member. It can also help set up a relationship with greater odds of success integrating your new pet into your family. Anyone who provides proof of completed positive reinforcement training will receive a 100 dollar refund from Fetch Foster and Rescue Inc! If you have questions or are wondering if the class you want to take qualifies please reach out! ♥   Fetch Foster and Rescue Inc is a 501c3 non-profit organization ##2242792##

Abby is house trained, kennel trained and loves to play ball. She is past the chew everything phase. Love walks and cuddles. She does get car sick. She is very sweet and I hate to part with her but financially I can't keep up. She is overdue for this years shots but her rabies is good for another year. She is microchipped. She will need an active family or you will have behavior issues. She is a border collie/heeler mix that needs lots of exercise. Currently she lives with another dog an cats.
