Mary, aka Mary-Anna Banana, cannot wait to meet you! She’s an adorable 5 mo old black, white, and brown collie/shepherd mix who will delight you with her affection and antics. Mary enjoys running and playing with other dogs, playing with squeaky and crinkling dog toys, and, at her age, chewing on toys to help with teething. Her bright and eager eyes will undoubtedly catch your attention, and you’ll soon be at her mercy. This dog is cute, cute, cute—and gives the most enjoyable kisses when picked up and snuggled. As active as she is, Mary also appreciates a good snuggle and is very people oriented. She makes a most excellent napping partner. She thoroughly enjoys running and playing with kiddos. Her best playmate is a 5 yr old neighbor. Mary will do well in a wide variety of home situations, as long as she is loved and gets to spend a lot of time with her human(s). Mary sleeps through the night in her crate and is actively potty training. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines (2nd round of shots completed), microchipped, and current on preventatives. Animal Profile: Beethoven (hearing impaired like his namesake) is an estimated 3.5-year-old 40 lb neutered male mixed breed -- possibly terrier aussie mix mix -- who was a stray intake to the Caddo Parish Shelter in Louisiana and was assessed to be friendly, social and outgoing with everyone. He has a coat made for the PNW! This boy was used for dog testing because he is neutral or friendly with everyone. We will share more info once we get to know him in foster care.   Foster Update: Beethoven can't hear but he is a next-level snuggle buddy and goofy boy who is house-trained, crate trained, and friendly with other dogs. He's also done okay with cats. He'd do best with a dog buddy in his home. He is prone to anxiety without proper leadership so an experienced dog owner who can provide training and help him be his best self is needed. Thoven has nice leash manners and is non-destructive in the house.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Animal Profile: Riley is an 9 week old male Border Collie mix. He is a Border collie through and through, and smart as a whip. He tries to herd the big dogs and is right on the pups to herd them too, even though he's smaller. He's got big lungs and an even bigger heart. He has no fear and is willing to try anything. He's a champ at his potty training. He was bought as a Christmas present and given to the family with no heads up. Family had triplets under 1yr, a 2ish yr old and another younger child. He was way to much to.take on and they knew that quick. He was release to our foster to help find him the appropriate home. Hes a lot of puppy and will probably need a good job. If your looking for your next adventure buddy or sport dog, Riley may be just what your looking for. We are looking for homes with securely fenced yards, breed experience preferred ,  we are not considering apartments at this time.
