My favorite thing to do is run around and play with my siblings and give kisses to my foster mom.   We are good with other most other dogs, dog savvy children, and we have been exposed to ranch animals as well. We are all 7 month old shepherd mixes, approximately 45 pounds each. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Howdy partner! My name is Duchesne, but my friends call me Dutch. I’m a 1-year-old Border Collie mix, weighing in at 45 pounds. I made my way from the Uintah Basin where I lived outside, and boy, do I love the indoor life now! Humans are great to have around, and I’ve learned to appreciate their company. I enjoy snuggles at bedtime, but otherwise, lovin’ is on my terms for now. I get along wonderfully with other dogs, love chasing balls, and value my alone time. I could use some training to learn to behave just the way my foster mom would like. I haven’t lived with cats, but they don’t seem to interest me much. Now, chickens and birds? I definitely notice them. I can yodel and point to let you know when I’ve spotted them! I would love a family of my own, preferably with older children since the younger ones can be a bit scary for me. A fenced yard to run in would be perfect, and if you’re an active outdoor person, that’s a huge plus. My mind needs activity! I’m still working on my leash skills, but I’m making progress. Hi, I am Shinzo: an 10 yr old, 70 lb male McNab mix. The first word that comes to mind when you see me is regal, being poised in my stature, walk and behavior, but you might catch me playfully hopping with my dog buddies.When we first meet I need a moment to stand back to check you out just to determine if you're friend or foe, but don't worry...I'm a love bug after I've made my decision and see that you are worthy. I get along great with the dogs in my foster house, and I am great with kids. (Sorry, I don't like cats though.) I prefer not to bark (even when others are) as I am too well-mannered, but I have a wonderful deep bark if needed. I already know how to use a doggy door and am completely trained to do my business outside. Unlike some of my herding friends, I'm not hyperactive. I do need room and time to exercise (wait till you see how good I am on a leash!) but I also enjoy a nice nap at your side. I might nudge you with my nose if I feel you're ignoring me, but you'll think it's super cute. Don't fret, this regal boy doesn't require a throne...just a home and family where I can show you what a perfect dog I am to love and to love you.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Adopt River! This 5ish-year-old guy wants nothing more than to be snuggled by his people and give hugs. He has the best smile and is an absolutely delightful companion and the best work-from-home buddy. River will snooze at your feet during meetings, waking up occasionally to place his paw on your leg to check in. River would love a big backyard to run around in and then relax in the sun - he'll spend hours out there enjoying the fresh air, if you'll let him! River loves to chew on bones and squeaky toys and watch the world outside the front window. He enjoys the companionship of other dogs, but is not super playful with them. (Though he does enjoy a good game of a chase in the yard!) River also isn't a big fan of new people inside his home. So if you're a bit of an introvert, too, and prefer to do your socializing outside the house, then River is the pup for you! And the good news is that he's perfectly happy to hang out quietly in his crate on the occasions you do have company. Chopper is a 2 year old blue heeler mix and a SUPER sweet energetic boy that loves attention and cuddles. He thinks everyone is his best friend, and he has enthusiastic body wiggles when he wags his tail. He is crate trained and house trained. He loves to play and wrestle with his dog friends, and also loves a good cuddle on the couch. He loves to jump around and try to do aerial acrobatics when his meals are being brought to him. Chopper was a community dog on the reservation, and was rescued after he had an encounter with a porcupine and needed medical attention. As Chopper is still new to being a pet, he will need an adopter that will be patient while working on general skills, such as basic obedience, learning to walk on a leash, and how to ride in a car. Chopper is a wonderful dog with a huge personality, he is ready to be the very best companion! Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis.
