Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Easy-going little Keebler hasn't had the smoothest of lives prior to coming into our program, but she sure is a happy gal now that she's here! Keebler has been allowed to breed many times over, and while she may not favor spending time with other dogs(and is VERY unsure of cats), she's elated to be in the company of humans! Chatty(she's a woo girl) Keebler is a blank slate when it comes to basic obedience but does decently on a leash, and is quickly learning the simpler commands while she waits for a sunny spot on a comfy couch to call her own. As she's settled into life at the shelter, pretty little Keebler has made it clear her goal is to be an only pet, and we're happy to oblige this request! She's just enough spunk to be the center of attention, which is just how she likes it. This mashup of doggie genetics has us confused on just what makes a Keebler, so a DNA panel has been ordered and results will be listed as soon as we have them. A funny little old lady in a dog suit, Keebler is the type who'd likely make a mean key lime pie and chain smoke(but only on Bunco nights) were she human. If you're looking for a no-fuss pup who takes life slow and easy, Keebler's your girl. *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Story
Sophie is an 10 year old, 70lb, spayed Collie mix. She is up to date on her vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She is good with children and loves to play with other dogs. She would not do well with cats or chickens due to her prey drive. Sophie is crate and house trained and walks well on leash. She is an active, playful girl who prefers daily walks to get her energy out. She would love to snuggle with you on the couch and give hugs to everyone she meets! Sophie came into our rescue as a young puppy, she was adopted twice and had forever homes for approximately 3-1/2 years both times. Both times she was returned due to changes in the family dynamics through no fault of hers. She is looking for a REAL forever home this time - one that she can live out her remaining years with love and companionship. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application at www.hhfrescue.org. Thank you for considering a rescued dog!

Meet Junior: your future best friend!Junior is a 5-year-old, 45 lb cuddle bug who is looking for a loving home where he can be by your side as much as possible. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will happily lounge on the couch with you, Junior is your perfect match! This sweet boy has a gentle soul and loves nothing more than being close to his people. He’s a certified couch potato but has recently started playing with other dogs, showing his fun, playful side. Once he warms up, he gets along well with other dogs and seems to enjoy their company, but he’d also do just fine as your one-and-only furry best friend. What makes Junior special?• He’s affectionate & loyal: he’ll be your shadow and wants to be wherever you are!• Good with dogs (after an introduction): he may need a little time to warm up, but he enjoys having dog friends around.• He’s low energy: he’s happy with a cozy couch, a warm bed, and a loving human to snuggle with.• He’s well-behaved when left alone: while he has some separation anxiety, he does fine left uncrated. His ideal home?Junior would thrive in a home with someone who works from home or is retired since he loves companionship. He’ll need a family that doesn’t mind sharing their couch or bed because snuggling is his favorite pastime! A patient adopter willing to continue his potty training and help him feel secure will be rewarded with endless love and devotion. Are you ready to welcome this sweet, loving boy into your home? Junior is waiting to be your new best friend! www.this-is-houston.org/adopt/adopt-application**Currently in Houston, TX but is able to transport out-of-state**

Story
Brisko is 2 years old and weighs about 45 lbs. She is a very energetic and intelligent dog. House and crate trained. She goes in and out of her crate throughout the day and sleeps in it overnight without issues. When inside the house, she rings the bell at our backdoor to let us know when she wants to go outside. She enjoys walks/hikes, car rides and especially loves the park. When walked on a leash, there is typically no issue with pulling. I often ride my bike while holding her and her sister on a leash! She listens to commands extremely well. When outside, she will not come inside the house without permission to enter. She is really good at being still and obedient during grooming time as I have had no issues doing these things myself - including trimming and grinding her nails. She is part of a bonded pair, so it would be great if both were considered together, but that's not mandatory.
