Story
Meet Willow!Hi there! My name is Willow, and I`m a sweet and playful four-year-old dog. I absolutely love being around kids, and I`m known for being great with them. Although I can be a bit skittish around men when we first meet, I quickly warm up and become playful once I feel comfortable.I have excellent house manners, which means I know how to behave well inside. I never beg for food, and you won`t hear me barking unnecessarily. At night, I love to sleep at the foot of my fosters`s bed, keeping them company and providing them with warmth and comfort.Sometimes, when my foster leaves, I may scratch at the door. However, with a bit of training and adjustment, this behavior will improve over time. It could be a good idea to consider using a crate or kennel to help me feel secure and comfortable when I`m alone.Overall, I`m a really nice dog, and I would make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a loving and loyal furry friend. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
This handsome boy needs a very special human in his life as he just can not bring himself to trust many humans. Prince might like someone immediately but it is rare, he did not like his foster mom at all initially but now he is really loving and adoring with her. He is an outgoing and fun dog once he chooses to trust someone and otherwise makes it clear he prefers to be left alone. Prince lives with lots of other dogs and is especially playful with many of the smaller dogs in his home. He has not been cat tested but ignores the cats in their catio in his foster home. He has learned to accept and walk on a leash and even enjoys going for walks now. He is house-trained and has good house manners which is great because he hates being in a crate. He needs a home without a lot of people coming and going and/or with a place he can be away from people that do not live with him and no young children. His perfect home would be his human and how many other dogs his human would like to have live with them.

Story
Hello, my name is Winter! I am a 1 year old female Collie mix that weighs approx. 45 lbs. I was surrendered to RAC due to my previous home no longer being able to care for me. I am now looking for a FURever home to call my own! I am a friendly girl that loves spending time with my people. I am crate trained and walk well on leash. I previously shared a home with other dogs but a meet and greet is always recommend if you have another dog in the home. If you are interested in making me part of your family, please submit an adoption application located here: mhttps://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/. RAC staff will be in touch with approved applicants in order to schedule a meet and greet. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, current on my rabies vaccine, microchipped, up to date on my basic boosters, and I am heartworm negative.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. February 26, 2025, 2:27 pm
