Story
Hello, my name is Winter! I am a 1 year old female Collie mix that weighs approx. 45 lbs. I was surrendered to RAC due to my previous home no longer being able to care for me. I am now looking for a FURever home to call my own! I am a friendly girl that loves spending time with my people. I am crate trained and walk well on leash. I previously shared a home with other dogs but a meet and greet is always recommend if you have another dog in the home. If you are interested in making me part of your family, please submit an adoption application located here: mhttps://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/. RAC staff will be in touch with approved applicants in order to schedule a meet and greet. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, current on my rabies vaccine, microchipped, up to date on my basic boosters, and I am heartworm negative.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. February 26, 2025, 2:27 pm

What more can you ask for! This young man is an all around super star. Why he found himself without a home is a mystery, but we will certainly make sure we will find him the best one ever for the rest of his life. Can it be yours? Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement. The dogs are Spayed/Neutered, micro chipped, current on all vaccines and on heart worm/flea preventive. Story
Mork and Mindy were part of a large group of dogs that were abandoned in a poor area known for stray dogs. They survived because a few people in that area fed them, and 1 lady in particular tries to help as many as she can. We took them to get them off the street and give them a better life. These are sweet dogs that just need a chance to show you their personalities and their love. Rescued dogs like this make great pets because they are so grateful. Mork and Mindy are learning manners now and hope you will be their forever home.If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Pinto was one of 7 pups that came to us with their Mom, Paisley. They were very fearful and unsocialized. Over time we rehabilitated 3 of his siblings and they were adopted. Pinto is now showing signs of progress and for the right home, is ready. A loving and patient home is what he needs to overcome his remaining fears but he is loving and wants to be your good boy! He's beautiful and the only one that looks like a Collie mix.If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Levi is one of 2 little pups found in a box on the side of the road and a good Samaritan picked them up. We were glad we could take them as they would have gone to the high kill shelter. They were just 3 lb when we saved them. Levi is a darling male dog- we think some Husky and some Collie but you can be the judge of that! He walks great on a leash and is up to date on all vaccinations. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
I am a %100 Disabled American Veteran. I had a Service Dog for 10 years. He passed away on Christmas Eve. I have a puppy that is training to do his job. I have some serious health issues and I have a total of 5 dogs. Shad O is way too high energy for me and it is disrupting my health issues and causing me a hard time with training the puppy. Shad O is a great dog. He loves to cuddle. He is great with kids, other dogs, cat curious. He is very energetic and needs a home with another dog or kids so that his energy needs get met. I was hoping that he goes with the service dog program that gave me this website. Shad O is 11 months old, neutered and shots updated and microchipped. He is house trained and potty trained. He really needs a home ASAP, as I don't know how much longer I will be able to physically and mentally be able to keep him

Story
Meet Sylphrena!   Sylphrena is a 6-month-old Border Collie mix with all the charm and energy you ’d expect from a young pup! Weighing in at about 20 pounds, she’s a petite, playful girl who loves making new friends  both human and canine. She’s still learning her manners around cats but is making great progress.   Like any typical puppy, Sylphrena is full of enthusiasm and curiosity! She’s working on crate and potty training and will thrive in a home that can continue to guide her with patience and consistency. She adores playtime and would love an active family to keep her engaged.   Sylphrena is available for foster-to-adopt in the DFW area. Her spay appointment is scheduled for February 25, 2025, in Garland, and her adopter will need to ensure she makes it to her appointment.   If you’re looking for a fun-loving pup to add to your family, Sylphrena might be your perfect match! Apply to meet her today!  March 6, 2025, 3:41 pm
