Story
Levi is one of 2 little pups found in a box on the side of the road and a good Samaritan picked them up. We were glad we could take them as they would have gone to the high kill shelter. They were just 3 lb when we saved them. Levi is a darling male dog- we think some Husky and some Collie but you can be the judge of that! He gets along with other dogs and is affectionate with people. He walks great on a leash and is up to date on all vaccinations and is neutered. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Pinto was one of 7 pups that came to us with their Mom, Paisley. They were very fearful and unsocialized. Over time we rehabilitated 3 of his siblings and they were adopted. Pinto is now showing signs of progress and for the right home, is ready. A loving and patient home is what he needs to overcome his remaining fears but he is loving and wants to be your good boy! He's beautiful and the only one that looks like a Collie mix.If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Mork and Mindy were part of a large group of dogs that were abandoned in a poor area known for stray dogs. They survived because a few people in that area fed them, and 1 lady in particular tries to help as many as she can. We took them to get them off the street and give them a better life. These are sweet dogs that just need a chance to show you their personalities and their love. Rescued dogs like this make great pets because they are so grateful. Mork and Mindy are learning manners now and hope you will be their forever home.If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Grace is a stunning 1 year old 50 pound collie/lab mix (best guess!).  She is very well trained and would love a home with a fenced yard and an owner who will to take her on walks-though apartment living suits her well, too! Grace is super chill with a laid back temperament. She would be happiest in a home as an only dog so she has your undivided attention. She is a great cuddler and even masquerades as a couch potato at times. She would be ideal for an older couple, less active individual or special needs person who would enjoy a low key dog.   To meet Grace in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.  ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care.  All dogs are on flea, tick and heartworm prevention and you receive the following month's preventatives complementary with your adoption!  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.  Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.  Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all jadults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard.  DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and surrounding areas. ##2179383##

If Roscoe had been in High School, he would have been Mr. Congeniality and probably Valedictorian too. He has a huge personality, loves people and knows no stranger and is very smart on top of that. What more can you ask for! This young man is an all around super star. Why he found himself without a home is a mystery, but we will certainly make sure we will find him the best one ever for the rest of his life. Can it be yours? Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement. The dogs are Spayed/Neutered, micro chipped, current on all vaccines and on heart worm/flea preventive. Story
Hi there! I'm Felix, a young and sprightly cattle dog. I'm full of energy and love to play. I enjoy the company of my fellow canine friends here at the shelter. I'm also quite fond of older children; their energy matches mine perfectly! I've been attending training school, so I know a few commands. I promise to be a good boy and listen to you. I'm looking for a loving family who can match my energy and playfulness. Adopt me, and I promise to fill your life with joy and endless tail wags! Please call 972-524-4709 with any other questions or if you would like more information. Our adoption fee for our animals includes: All vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter, deworming, and tick/flea treatment

Story
Mac is a sweetheart who needs a family who has the time and energy to give him the love that we are no longer able to. He's very smart but never got the proper training that he should have, so he can be a bit strong willed at times. He LOVES fetch and is EXTREMELY fast. He will keep bringing that ball back to you until your arm gets tired. He needs lots of playtime or a farm type setting where he has lots of room to run and things to explore.
