Story
Meet Spud, your new favorite potato....er, dog! Yeah, I might be named after a potato, but really I'm just going to be your favorite buddy. I'm a 20 lb., 4 month old collie mix, or so they tell me. Could be some jack russell terrier or beagle in there - who knows? I'm just a bundle of cute! I have the softest fur, and I love to snuggle up with you while you pet me or just hug me. In fact, I'll likely be rolled over to give you my belly to pet so fast, you might not be sure what color the fur on my back is! Foster mom says I'm one of the easiest puppies she's ever had. I'm good in my crate all night, and am doing well with my housetraining. I love other dogs, and will hang out with anyone. I bark at the cats sometimes because I just don't understand why they won't play with me. I'm a fun boy! I love to lay in the grass, play with my housemates, and settle down by you to watch our favorite show at night. I haven't really been around little kids, but I'd likely be good with them, as long as you teach me to stop tugging on clothes to get someone's attention - I'm not always good at judging how thick the clothing is, and sometimes foster mom gets a little nip as a result. Oops! I'm up to date with all my vaccinations, and that neuter thing happened already, so I'm ready to go. I hope you'll pick me.  And now the tag-line for those of you who remember: This Spud's for you! Snuggles and kisses! Love, Spud   Spud will be available for adoption on June 16, 2024 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL #16182. ##2081397##

Story
Are you looking for a big fluffy baby? If you thought yes then Cruze might be the big baby you’re looking for! Cruze is a 3 year old collie weighing almost 70 lbs. He is also the dad of the collie mix puppies that arrived last week. Cruze is a timid boy but really he’s just a big baby who just wants loved and pet. Cruze is house trained and knows the commands sit and paw. Cruze enjoys a nice calm walk and does really well at not pulling and walking with you. Cruze is looking for a patient owner who is home often to help him succeed as he comes out of shell and adjusts to a new home. He will also need consistent grooming to maintain his beautiful fur which is no problem for Cruze as he loves to be brushed. Cruze is cat friendly and would do well in a home with older children. please fill out an application and email the completed application to jazmin.bthar@gmail.com applications can be found on the website at bridgetohome84.org Bridge to Home Washington PA 15301 KI#16643

Story
Please meet Jax -- a 6-year old Border Collie who was relinquished by his owner to the Long Run Pet Hospital in Wheeling, WV.  Jax loves to play with all kinds of toys. He does well on a leash and although housebroken, he might need a refresher course since he has been living at the vet clinic for over a year. Jax is very courteous at mealtime and will wait by his food bowl until given permission to eat. He knows many commands and loves to follow and please his humans. He gets along well with other dogs, does well with cats and kids of any age.  Jax is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations. All he needs now is a permanent home to call his own. Jax is a courtesy post; please contact Dr. Pam Harrold at the Long Run Pet Hospital at 304-232-2605 for more information or to meet Jax.December 20, 2024, 11:30 am
