Story
Howdy, friends! I'm Snicker, and just like the candy, I'm here to add some sweetness to your life. But the best part? No sugar rush, just pure, long-lasting love! At 5 years old and a perfectly sized 44 pounds, I'm an Australian Cattle Dog (or Red Heeler) who's as sweet and soft as they come. With my warm reddish coat and those big brown eyes, I'm a head-turner, but it's my gentle nature that really wins hearts. I came to Happy Bark after my previous family had to make the hard decision to let me go. They wanted what was best for me, and now I'm ready to find a new family who will love me forever. While I might seem a little shy at first, don't let that fool you-once I feel safe and secure, I'm all in! I'm the kind of dog who'll quietly nuzzle your hand, content just being near you, sharing quiet moments and soft glances. One of the best things about me is how well I get along with others. I'm a peaceful, easygoing guy who gets along great with other dogs. Big or small, I'm happy to share space, toys, or even a nice nap in the sun. I'm also cool with cats-no chasing or pestering here, just respect and harmony. My calm, mellow personality makes me a great companion for households with other animals. I'm not a dog who's going to demand too much from you. I'm content with the simple pleasures-belly rubs, quiet strolls, and curling up next to you after a long day. But don't get me wrong-I've still got a playful side! I'd love a good romp in the yard or some fun exploring on walks, but I'm just as happy to cuddle up and enjoy some down time with my favorite humans. If you're looking for a sweet, steady companion who'll love you unconditionally and fit right in with the family (whether it's just you or a whole pack of furry friends), I'm your guy. They don't call me Snicker for nothing-my sweetness is sure to bring a smile to your face every single day. Let's make life a little sweeter together! Snicker's adoption fee is $275. Story
Hi there, I'm Windy! They say I'm an Australian Cattle Dog mix, but between you and me, I'm just a whole lot of love wrapped up in a furry coat. At seven years old, I'm past all that puppy chaos, but I've still got plenty of life in these paws-and a whole lot of belly rubs waiting for someone to give them! I might have come in as a stray, but you'd never know it by my sweet, easygoing ways. I'm all about making friends, whether they've got two legs or four! Cats, dogs, people-it doesn't matter to me, as long as we're gentle and kind. I get along with everyone. I'm just 28 pounds, so I'm the perfect size for snuggling right up close without taking up too much space. And believe me, snuggling is one of my favorite things to do. My favorite part of the day? When someone stops to give me a belly rub. I'll roll right over and look up at you with these big, grateful eyes, soaking up all the love I can get. I may not be a young pup, but that just means I've had some time to figure out what really matters: finding a human who'll love me as much as I love them. So if you're looking for a loyal friend who's past the puppy phase but still full of heart, I might just be your gal. Come meet me-I'll be waiting here, ready to be your loyal companion and best friend. Windy's adoption fee is $275. Story
Hi there, I’m Orion! They say I’m named after a constellation of stars, and you know what? I like to think that fits me just right. Like my celestial namesake, I might not always be the first one you notice in a crowd, but once you do, you’ll see I shine in my own special way. I’ve got a calm, laid-back vibe that’s a little different from your typical Australian Cattle Dog energy. Sure, I still enjoy a good walk or some playtime, but I’m also perfectly content lounging by your side, soaking up the love. Here’s another bright spot: I get along great with other dogs! Whether it’s a playmate in the yard or a buddy to share the couch with, I’m happy to make friends and share the good vibes. I was found wandering as a stray, so I’m still figuring out what it means to have a real home. I hear it’s pretty amazing, though, and I can’t wait to meet someone who’ll give me that chance. At 1.5 years old and 56 pounds, I’m just the right size to be your loyal companion without taking over your whole couch. I’m already neutered and ready to be the brightest star in your life. So, what do you say? Are you ready to make your universe a little brighter with me in it? I’ll be here, wagging my tail and waiting to meet you! Orion's adoption fee is $275.
