Story
Meet FRANKIE Meet Frankie, a bundle of love and joy eagerly waiting for his forever family. This sweet boy might be a bit shy at first, especially around men, but with a little patience and understanding, he blossoms into the most loyal companion. Frankie absolutely adores playing with other dogs and his human friends. His gentle demeanor, marked by patience and kindness, makes him a delight to be around. Frankie is a well-behaved pup who was a champ during bath time and is making great progress with leash training. Remarkably, Frankie is a silent companion – he doesn't bark, whimper, or whine. He finds comfort in his crate, willingly staying inside with the door open and is perfectly content to sleep there at night. House-trained and accident-free, Frankie is impeccable indoors. While he may have a nervous tinkle around men, this can be managed with gentle reassurance. When he wants affection, he'll gently paw at you, melting your heart every time. Frankie is pure love, and he's ready to share it with a family who will cherish him as much as he will them. Adopt Frankie and experience the joy of unconditional love! For adoption information about FRANKIE, go to https://www.usdogcoalition.org/adoptions We do not adopt out of state, adoption fees are $300. We require an application to meet with any of our dogs and we reserve the right to do a thorough veterinarian check and a home check.

Story
Cranberry is the berry best boy! This little guy may be one of the smaller ones in his litter, but he has the biggest heart!! He loves getting all the attention and naturally stole the show when visiting the nurses at UNC Rex. He cannot wait to find his forever family and get to show them all the unconditional love in the world!! All of the "fruit puppies would do well in a high activity household and would be ideal candidates for active families. They would do well in homes with older kids, but probably not newborns/small babies since they love to tackle and play contact sports. They would need very slow introductions to any feline friends, as they all seem to have some prey drive. They all did well in the bath and were really good for nail trims. They will need continued work on potty training. They have not had crate experience but have done will in the fenced in yard and in a tall playpen. They did good when wearing their collars, but have not had any leash experience. They all LOVE food and seem to be eager to please. Training them should be a breeze!! They just can't wait for you to come meet them and continue showing them just how great life can be!! Weekend Host had this to say: "Cranberry is as sweet as can be! " "Cranberry loved snuggling with our kids (8 and 12) and had excellent behavior when we had even younger visitors (infants who played on the floor just a few away from him and a 4 year old)." "He enjoyed playing with sticks and exploring outside." "He is learning to walk on a leash, but showed off by sitting anytime a car went by." "He has excellent potty training and crate training skills, and seemed to prefer sleeping in his crate even when given an option (and was a breeze sleeping all night)." "He is food motivated (though not overly so) and makes us think that he will easily learn new skills!" "Cranberry is a great passenger in the car and enjoyed several outings with us, always staying calm, snuggly and up for a good time!" Recent Weekend Host commented: "Cranberry gets along with other pups." "We went for a 1.5 mile walk to a Carolina Tailgate where he was a showstopper. He received all the love and pets from everyone, kids, band members, adults and interacted with everyone beautifully! He was calm and friendly. He didn't get anxious, bark, or anything of the sorts...he ended up taking a nap in the middle of the tailgate." "We walked the 1.5 miles back through campus and he was great." "We had a great active weekend that was well balanced with naps and snuggles." "He is great at listening...come, leave it, we are working on "sit" consistently."
