Story
Momma Donna is a Kelpie/Heeler mix girl that gave birth 3 months ago to 8 beautiful, wonderful Heeler puppies. This girl is 2 years old and only 42 pounds.  She is amazingly smart and seems to know exactly what you are saying to her.  We think that Momma Donna would be a perfect addition to a home with children who want to play and teach a dog some good tricks and manners.  She is willing to learn anything. Momma Donna is nicely housebroken and ready for a totally great and new life.  Momma Donna just needs a place to belong.   So, do you have a front porch and a hole in your heart ready to be filled by a loving and devoted dog who wants to walk down the road with you every day?   Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in Momma Donna.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
This handsome red heeler mix puppy is called Ernie and he and his brother Bert and their mom were found in a barn where they had been raised by their stray mother. Their mother was barely hanging on to life. The happy ending to her story is she is living with a wonderful family now and is loved and Ernie is looking for a wonderful family too raise him, love him, and bring his own special joy to. Ernie is a really delightful and well adjusted 6-month-old puppy that weighs 26 lb. He is a friendly little guy that enjoys meeting people and loves to chase a ball and bring it back to you. His innocence and love for life is contagious. He craves being with people that like him and speak kind words to him. He will crawl in your lap and be your best little buddy. His foster mom who raised he and his brother Bert says that he has the best temperament and personality. Recently this little guy went to a yoga class at the YMCA and had so much fun. It was a totally new and unique environment and he handled it with great poise and embraced all of the Zen vibes going on. Ernie is housebroken, crate trained, loves being around other cats and dogs alike and adores children. There isn't a living creature on this earth that he doesn't like. He is learning quite well,  how to walk on a leash and he rides in a car like a pro. He would be a great dog to take for hikes, long walks, outdoor events and adventures, and of course he would be a hit at any family reunions. Ernie is ready to call a family and their home his very own. If you are interested in making Ernie your perfect little sidekick in life, Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 19, 2024, 12:02 pm

Story
My name is Axel and I am a Blue Heeler mix male that weighs about 28 to 30 lb and I am looking for a fun and active family. Critter Cavalry Rescue has promised me a great life and future that will give me all the love and comforts that a dog deserves. Me and my siblings have been in a Tennessee small town shelter for almost 2 months. We've done pretty good because we're getting decent care but a shelter is not a place for puppies to grow up. I am the kind of boy that will be happy and loving and go on all the great adventures or hikes that you want to go on. I just need someone to give me the opportunity to show what a terrific type of dog I can be. I am good with other dogs and I'll be fine with cats too because I think they're pretty cool. I will need some help on getting into a good house breaking schedule and potty break timeouts.   I am a dog that is very adaptable and above all very lovable. I would be great with kids, a young adult couple, a single person, or an empty nest couple.   I could be a second or third dog or I could be the only dog. A secretly fenced yard would really be fun, so that I could just hang out for hours on my own.  If you read up about the Heeler breed, you will learn that they are very smart and very devoted to their families. We aren't on the go all the time and have chill buttons that certainly can be punched. I would love to hang out and watch some TV with you or stay at your feet while you're reading or working on the computer. I just need exercise everyday to some degree. I'm not a shy dog and I'm not a anxious dog, but I am a good dog to consider as you're forever best friend. If you were interested in making me a part of your future life with a dog, I'll be a good one, I promise.
