Story
Get ready to fall in love with Buffalo, the 2 year old fetch champion who brings endless joy to every room he enters! Buffalo is house trained, crate trained, loves riding in the car, and is a certified professional cuddler. He has never met another person or dog that he does not love. Buffalo is 50 lbs and would thrive in a home with a yard, or with a family that has another dog to play with. He would make a great walking, running, or hiking companion. Buffalo received his namesake after he was found swimming in Buffalo Bayou on a hot day. He was abandoned at the bayou’s dog park - a prime dumping ground for dogs. Despite these challenges, he is optimistic and can't wait to move on to his next adventure. Will you be his new best friend? We can drive this pup to your area! If you're interested in this cutie and you're in driving distance to Toronto, Grimsby ON, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, Brattleboro, Secaucus, please send us an inquiry here and we'll give you a call and video chat with the pup! Here's the link: https://www.friendsfurliferescue.org/adoption-application Please copy/paste the above link into your browser ^ Our transport can take this pup to any of the above locations. (YES we also adopt to Canada! Please note: The adoption is in US dollars.) There is NO transport fee. All is included in the adoption fee :) Thank you! We're looking forward to your inquiry!

Story
If you want to adopt Boots, fill out this application form FIRST!: https://form.jotform.com/243134969050053 Boots is currently in a foster home at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near Rochester, New York or a city listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Boots is a mixed breed; our Apple AI guesses are all over the place. So, we are guessing Cattle Dog/Catahoula mix and just turned a year old (December 29th). -She's 32 pounds. -Came in with another dog and gets along with other dogs as well -Very, very friendly -Walks well on a leash -Quiet, well mannered. Doesn't bark much. -Her ears stand up straight when she hears something interesting. -Hates going in her kennel so we are assuming she is housebroken. If not, we are sure she can learn quickly. -We can test her with cats but we assume she wouldn't have any issue. Video of Boots: https://youtube.com/shorts/GBED4eHu94g?feature=share Boots is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), has been dewormed, a negative heartworm test (done on Dec 12th), on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $550; this is including all vetting above and $250 transport cost. If you aren't contacted within 48 hours after filling out online form (LINK ABOVE), please contact us again at 580-257-0622 or luckypawsdoghouse@gmail.com.
