Story
Sadie is a very sweet and loyal people-loving puppo! She is five years old and very loved, but circumstances have changed and her owner no longer has time to care for her. Sadie is very mannerly and likes to protect her home and yard, and play with her person. She doesn't mind other dogs but she has strong herding instincts, so she might be a little bothersome to other doggie roommates. She would probably be happiest in a home where she gets all of the attention. Sadie is very mellow and gentle, and she is respectful of her surroundings. Exercise makes her healthy and happy, so make sure your life schedule includes time for walks or play time in the park! If you are able to give this sweet girl the love and attention she deserves, please reach out

Story
Boone was in a litter of "porch puppies" abandoned on someone's ranch. He was the only one of his siblings that wasn't gold and black, and for the first 6 months of his life we thought he was an Anatolian Shepherd...then the spots came in. A DNA test revealed he is cattle dog, boxer, hound, german shepherd, and a couple other less-contributed breeds. He instantly clicked with our pit-mix and she basically potty trained him. He's also close with our now-toddler who was freshly 1 year at the time we adopted him. He is so loving and cuddly. He loves to chase the lights and shadows on the wall in the afternoon and is very playful. He does need to be crated when we're away and at night as he likes to help himself to our son's toy bin. He's a "melter" meaning when you pet him he melts into your legs and loves belly rubs. A bit of a goober, he also gets along with our other dogs and is overall very sweet. Boone would do very well in a single-dog home with someone who loves couch cuddles!
