Story
Hi!  My name is Susie and I am looking for a forever home.  Me and my 4 puppies were surrendered to a scary place called a shelter by our owners.  All of my puppies got adopted and then I ended up on something bad called "the list".  Fortunately for me, a nice lady with a local rescue saw me and sprung me from that place; she then contacted BCAA to see if they could help me and they said yes!  I appear to be a mix of collie and not sure what else, but whatever I am mixed with my foster mom says I'm a super sweet girl 'cause all I want is to be with you and get some loving.  Before coming to my BCAA foster, my previous foster mom had grandkids over and said I was real good with them, too.  They all gave me lots of treats and food (maybe a little too much as I'm now on a diet to get my girlish figure back).  I am aroud 5years old so I'm past all of that puppy foolishness, and I'm currently 57 pounds.  I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but just give me a little time and some TLC and I will be your friend forever.  I have gotten along with the other medium/small dogs I have met and haven't bothered those things called cats that I've encountered.  I've done super good in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding, but I would definitely prefer to be out cuddling with you.  I love my food and treats which I take gently.  I've done good on leash but do pull some in my excitement on being out with you.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! PLEASE NOTE: Our adoption fee helps to cover our expenses and includes all shots, *age appropriate*, distemper and rabies, fecal check, spay/neuter, heartworm test, grooming, and in many cases dental and also the fee we pay when we rescue from a shelter. Oh, such a beautiful litter of Border Collie Mixes! At three months old they weigh 10-12 pounds, and all four will grow to about 45 pounds. They're a happy bunch, each one of them playful and inquisitive, each one loving. (posted 1/29/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **January 29, 2025, 3:20 pm

Story
These babies were brought to us after a lady’s neighbor left the pregnant mama. She kept the mom but could not keep her babies. This is a fun group of pups! They get along with strangers, kids and other dogs. They do well in a crate, usually just go to sleep. They would do well on hikes or other outside adventures. They are in a puppy teething mode so beware of fingers!! They are in need of all basic puppy training and just loads of love! A wonderful addition to any family. She is currently being fostered in TN but we use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.
