Meet Roam! Just before Christmas, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan stopped along I-64 and discovered a tub of abandoned puppies. They quickly took them to Shelby County Animal Control, who then reached out to us. Within a day, we had these sweet pups safe in our care. Thanks to the overwhelming support from our community, we’ve been able to provide the medical attention they so desperately needed. Over the past few weeks, these precious pups have been healing, staying warm, and gaining much-needed weight. Now, they’re ready to find their forever homes! Roam is in a wonderful foster home learning all things puppy!! He is doing well with crate training, potty training and socialization. We expect them to grow into medium-sized dogs once fully matured. If you’re interested in adopting, the process begins with submitting our online application at www.adoptmebluegrasspetrescue.com, or you can email us if you've already submitted an application within the last six months. We review applications and schedule meet-and-greets (with approved applicants only) in the order they’re received. Please keep in mind that Roam is a young puppy with a life expectancy of up to 15 years, so we’re looking for families who are ready to make a lifelong commitment. Our goal is to find the perfect match between family and dog, ensuring that both the dog and the family are set up for success and happiness throughout his life.
