Story
Can a Collie get a break here?? Yes, we think I am a collie mix and what a handsome boy I am!! I did not look this handsome when I arrived at the rescue, but a DEDICATED foster took me in and nursed me back to health and (even though it will be hard for her), I am READY for my FUREVER HOME!!! I came from a plea at a local animal control facility- I had been attacked by three other dogs at the facility who broke into my kennel and mauled me pretty bad :( My foster mom saw the post and agreed to help, and HELP she DID!!! Even though not a medical foster, she learned ALL the things she had to do to help my body and my soul heal. My back end/sides were torn OPEN on each side, numerous bite marks and punctures and infection when she got me. I spent quite a bit of time at the rescue vet for debridement and treatment of the very serious infections and then she took me home and changed my dressings daily and then weekly and then no more dressings!! I am a very very sweet and cuddly boy. House/crate trained, great with other dogs and everyone I meet (except kitties- not a fan). I am a medium sized boy and I am ready for you!!! My ideal family will love and appreciate my survivor personality, my cuddly and happy temperament and will keep me safe from harm for as long as they are blessed to have me :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Phoebe is a 4-5 year old heeler/terrier mix who weighs about 45 lbs. She will need an experienced owner who would like to continue basic manners work, and she's fully house/crate trained. She won't be a dog park dog as she needs a couple one-on-one meets to love other pups. No cats or small kids in her forever home, sorry! She has a big herding instinct. She's a love bug who is searching for someone to teach her how to be a good pet, and will play fetch all day long. She and her foster mom have been attending sessions with Kai's Training Academy, and the trainer will assist in her transition to her new home as well. Apply at www.foreverhomedogs.org to meet Phoebe! All adoptions are $300 per dog for puppies under 1 year, $250 for adults 1 - 9 years old and $150 for senior dogs which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots. Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $150 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.

Story
Tessie is a 5 year old petite 45lb brindle mix looking for a forever home. She was adopted out as a puppy and lived with cats, kids and other dogs in the past. She can be selective about her dog friends so would need a meet and two week trial run to ensure compatibility - she tends to do better with male doggos / ones that don't get into her business, but she's a wonderful listener so that helps as well. She will take a little bit of time to adjust, but with the right patient owner she will be a great addition. She is a perfect leash walker and loves car rides! Tessie's adoption fee is $250 and she's fully vetted / ready to meet people any time. If interested in meeting this gorgeous girl, please apply at www.foreverhomedogs.org and we will reach out!All adoptions are $300 per dog for puppies under 1 year, $250 for adults 1 - 9 years old and $150 for senior dogs which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots.
