Looking for a fun-loving bundle of fluff? Puppy might be your perfect match!About 2-years-old, this chow/collie/golden retriever mix is a charming boy who loves a squeaky toy and a romp with his canine friends. Puppy is always ready to bring a smile to your face. Now let’s talk about treats, Puppy is a big fan (I mean who isn’t?) and will be sure to win you over with his adorable `please give me a snack` eyes. It takes Puppy a little time to really trust the humans in his house but patience & a pocket full of treats will definitely help.Puppy would love for his forever home to have a fenced in yard and a canine buddy though he does like a nice walk and is working on his leash manners. If you’re looking for a sweet and playful friend, Puppy might be the one for you. Apply to meet this boy today!Interested in adopting this dog? Story
My name is Durango, and I am a handsome, active pup looking for a family to love. My happy place is wherever you are! Other dogs are super fun too, though I might be a little energetic for a shy canine sibling. I’ve never met any children but I’m a pretty friendly fellow. If I get bored and I haven’t had any playtime, sometimes I nibble on things that aren’t mine. But, I’m happy to focus on something else if you redirect me. Squeaky toys and antlers are my favorite things to chase and chew on. I got the first bath I can remember the other day - yuck. I’ll have to get used to that. My foster family says I’m very smart. I’m quickly learning several commands, and I almost never forget to go outside to potty. I’m a good boy in the crate at night or for a few hours during the day, and I don’t bark unless I hear a loud, scary noise. Do you like running? My foster family thinks I would be a great running or hiking companion because I have a lot of youthful energy and I’m very good on a leash. I also am really enjoying games called “fetch” and “tug.” After play time, I could enjoy a whole evening of snuggles and belly rubs. The couch looks really cozy, but I’m not allowed up there so I like napping on the floor by my humans. Do I sound like your kind of guy? I’m excited to meet you. We’re going to have a lot of fun together. Interested in adopting this dog? use this address to fill out application https://form.jotform.com/210294151347046 3 Years 74 lbs Fostered in SE Michigan Fenced yard required This handsome boy is ready for his forever home where he can settle in and get all the love and attention he deserves. Pauly was found as a stray and spent some time with animal control until he was liberated by CRGI. This charming boy has a gentle disposition and a heart full of love. Pauly is a true snuggle bug. He thrives on being close to his people. He enjoys playing fetch although he might need a little reminder to bring the ball back! He loves balls, stuffed animals, and chew sticks. At times he has bursts of energy, especially when welcoming guests into the home. Pauly knows several commands including sit and shake, and he has good recall. He walks well on a leash; however, he does get very excited when he sees other dogs and people. He just wants to make new friends! He's smart and can be redirected with treats. He will need some leash reactivity training. He gets along well with other dogs. However, he chases cats, so a feline free household is a must. Pauly needs a home where his new family will give him time to settle and relax. A home where someone is with him more often than not is best. He is very trainable, and food motivated. A family that understands his need for closeness and can provide him with the comfort and stability he craves would be perfect. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, Pauly could be the perfect addition to your home. Give this sweet boy a chance, and he'll reward you with endless affection and devotion.

Story
Meet Lincoln....... Lincoln is an adorable young boy, thought to be a Border Collie Mix. Like Border Collies, he’s very smart, a quick learner, very alert and quite energetic!! At age 9 months, he weighs 38 lbs. It is most important to note that we cannot be 100% sure of his adult weight, but our best guess is about 40ish lbs. This handsome boy joined BAARK from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky earlier this year. He is thought to have been born around December 23, 2022. He was a scared little puppy when entering our rescue program but has come out of his shell and has evolved into a playful, sociable, and somewhat mischievous boy. Lincoln is great with dogs outside of his foster home, but can be protective of his home and human, indoors. Most likely Lincoln would prefer being an only dog, receiving all the attention he deserves. However he could to ok with a calm easy-going female. He would probably be far too energetic for a senior (dog or human!) An ideal family for Lincoln is one able to assimilate the energy of a young boy into its lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Lincoln to be his best self! A secure, above-ground fenced yard is important. Lincoln would not thrive as an apartment dweller. Lincoln is crate-trained and is working on good house manners (housebreaking). He is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is heartworm negative and is on heartworm preventative. He is neutered and microchipped as well. . For information about adding this adorable boy to your family please contact BAARKDogRescue@gmail.com or 847-852-0895. BAARK is located in the far NW suburbs of Chicago and adopts local to this area.

Story
Libby is sure a unique-looking young girl; how can anyone not love her huge ears!! She is thought to be an Australian Kelpie Mix (possibly with Bull Terrier). She weighs about 30 lbs. Her estimated date of birth is June 5th 2023. Libby is a typical puppy, very energetic and playful. She likes to jump and can sometimes forget herself and be a little too rough with other dogs. But….…she is young and needs to learn boundaries and manners in order to evolve into a wonder family member with a forever family she so deserves.. This sweet pup likes playing with other dogs; she’s great with dogs and would enjoy the companionship of another dog in the home. Most likely, a young or middle-aged adult dog would prefer his company much more so than a senior dog. An ideal family for Libby is one able to assimilate the enthusiasm and playfulness of a puppy into their lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Libby to be her best self! A secure fenced yard is required; another younger or middle-aged pup in the family could also be advantageous. Libby is crate-trained and is working hard to improve her house manners (housebreaking). She is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Her spay is included in her adoption fee. For information about adding this adorable girl to your family please contact BAARKDogRescue@gmail.com or 847-852-0895.

Story
Meet Cadbury Cadbury has sure had a tough few years. A few months ago, he found himself at a high-kill shelter when his owner could no longer care for him. It was not the first time he ended up homeless and alone…through no fault of his own. Cadbury is a special boy, just 7 years old and about 38 lbs; he's small and compact, and a little stocky. We are not sure of his breed…could be a Cattle Dog/Lab Mix? He looks like a giant Chihuahua. He's a special-needs pup because he is missing his front right leg which became mangled about a year ago, and could not be saved. While sometimes difficult to get around, he does ok overall. Most challenging for him is going up and down stairs. As such, a ranch-style home or other one-level home would be best for him. Cadbury loves attention and enjoys the company of people. He also enjoys hanging out with other dogs, of all sizes. He is good with cats too. Cadbury enjoys car rides and is a very well-mannered passenger. Overall this sweet boy is a great dog, deserving of a loving and compassionate family of his own. Cadbury is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, is heartworm negative and on year-round heartworm prevention. He’s neutered and microchipped. Cadbury is housebroken as well. If you are interested in adding this precious boy to your family, please contact BAARKDogRescue@gmail.com or 847-852-0895 for more information and an adoption application. Note that BAARK is located in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago; we adopt local to our area.
