Looking for a fun-loving bundle of fluff? Puppy might be your perfect match!About 2-years-old, this chow/collie/golden retriever mix is a charming boy who loves a squeaky toy and a romp with his canine friends. Puppy is always ready to bring a smile to your face. Now let’s talk about treats, Puppy is a big fan (I mean who isn’t?) and will be sure to win you over with his adorable `please give me a snack` eyes. It takes Puppy a little time to really trust the humans in his house but patience & a pocket full of treats will definitely help.Puppy would love for his forever home to have a fenced in yard and a canine buddy though he does like a nice walk and is working on his leash manners. If you’re looking for a sweet and playful friend, Puppy might be the one for you. Apply to meet this boy today!Interested in adopting this dog? Visit our website (http://www.SecondCityCanineRescue.org) to fill out an application and to find out where this dog may be shown this weekend. We love our dogs. Story
Meet Warren! Warren joined Second City as a surrender to CACC, along with his brother, Wyatt. Though a little shy at first, this sweet pup quickly reveals his loving, playful side once he feels comfortable. He’s a vocal little guy with lots of opinions—whether it’s about people walking by, the dishwasher, or even the Starbucks drive-thru lady!Still a puppy, Warren is smart and eager to learn. He’s already mastered “sit” and is working on potty training with progress every day. He loves his toys, enjoys yard time, and does well on walks with a harness, though he’s still gaining confidence. While he needs a bit of patience as he adjusts to new environments, Warren`s cuddly, goofy personality makes it all worth it. With the right family and maybe even a calm, confident dog sibling to guide him, Warren will make a wonderful forever companion.Interested in adopting this dog? Meet Copenhagen! This sweet 5-month-old Heeler/Lab mix is named after the charming city known for its warmth and personality — and he has plenty of that to share! While he may be a bit shy, Copenhagen’s playful and affectionate nature really shines through if you give it time to warm up. He’s already potty trained, sleeps soundly in his crate, and is food-motivated, which makes him a quick learner. He’s even starting to master `sit`! As a puppy, he’ll need ongoing training, but his eagerness to please will make the process enjoyable for both of you. Copenhagen can be a little vocal, but that’s just his way of expressing his joy and enthusiasm. His striking blue and brown eyes will captivate you, and his adorable smile will melt your heart every time. He’s also dog-friendly and enjoys playing `chase me` with other pups. If you’re looking for a playful, loving, and intelligent companion who’s ready to grow and learn with you, Copenhagen might be the perfect fit for your family!Interested in adopting this dog? Meet Bora Bora, a stunning 5-month-old Heeler/Lab mix with captivating blue and brown swirled eyes that will melt your heart! Named after the beautiful island paradise, this spirited girl is full of life, resilience, and love. Bora Bora is potty trained, sleeps peacefully in her crate, and is independent and adventurous. She’s friendly with everyone she meets and is doing great with socializing, but like any puppy, she will benefit from some training to help her grow into the best companion she can be. One thing to note—she can be a bit vocal, so she’s best suited for a house with plenty of space to roam and play, rather than an apartment. If you`re looking for a playful and loving pup with stunning eyes and a heart full of potential, Bora Bora might be your perfect match.
