Story
We took Towny in from the streets of Peoplestown, hence the name! He has been in a house with another dog and a cat and has done great with both of them. He loves to play outside, chew on his toys, and has been doing well with leash training! He is crate trained as well and responds to it as "home". He would do great with someone who likes to take walks and play! He is microchipped, neutered, and has up-to-date vaccinations. We are excited to find Towny a permanent loving home!

Story
Astrid, 1, is a gentle beauty. We suspect she’s a Collie mix, and she is so silky soft. She’s just 41 pounds, fully grown. Astrid is a joyful, perennially upbeat dog. She loves people, walks, being outside with you, sunny days, exploring our trails and playing with you. She came to PAWS recently after a Good Samaritan found her, took care of her, but was not able to keep her. She carries herself like a dog who has been well-loved. We’d classify her as medium-energy, and we think she could be a great family dog. We’ve not yet had a chance to introduce her to another dog at the shelter. But we can do that, if you have a dog. We suspect she’d do fine. She seems potty trained, or at least close to it. She’s very attentive and gentle with her human friends. On walks, she’s constantly looking up at you, as if to say, “Isn’t this marvelous?” If you’re looking for a social, happy young dog, please get your adoption application in quickly through PAWSAtlanta.org/adopt.
