This is Lavender, a 4 year old rough collie who is fun, loving, and the best girl. She is the most sensitive and affectionate dog you’ll meet. She loves all the cuddles and attention to herself. She may get along with other dogs well, but may take time, she’s mainly been around one dog her whole life, but has made quick friends in the past. She’s vocal, she’ll let you know when she needs your attention, but she isn’t overly barking often. She’s well trained besides on walks, but she loves her walks. She knows plenty of tricks and listens really well. She’s very sensitive, so she cares when she’s being told what to do. Treats are her #1 motivator, but people are her #1 friends. She’ll do her best to keep her person happy. She’s lovely with kids as well.

He’s eager to learn, super responsive to training, and loves having a job to do. If you enjoy outdoor adventures, brain games, or a good game of fetch, Levi will be right there beside you, tail wagging and ready to go.   Levi loves his people deeply, but can feel stressed if he’s cornered or if his boundaries aren’t respected. He thrives in a calm, understanding home where he’s given space to warm up at his own pace. For that reason, he’s looking for an adult-only home (no young kids, please). The great news is, Levi is wonderful about communicating when he’s uncomfortable and is easily called away or redirected.     Meet Sugar Plum: All Around Great Dog!  This is Sugar Plum! Her smile is genuine, and this happy girl is always smiling!    Sugar Plum is approximately 1.5 years old and is a perfect size at roughly 45 pounds. She is potty trained, crate trained, and knows many basic commands including “sit”, “down”, and “stay”.  You would never know by her friendly outgoing and happy demeanor that Sugar Plum had a rough start in life.  As a puppy she was hit by a car, left untreated and eventually had one leg amputated. Sugar Plum bounced back beautifully, and her disposition is still sweeter and happier than just about any dog you’ll ever meet.  Because of the amputation Sugar Plum is a tripod, but don’t let that dampen your enthusiasm because it doesn’t slow her down one bit!  She doesn’t notice it, and neither will you when you meet her. She is a wonderful role model for people to see! Sugar Plum would fit right in with an active lifestyle and someone that will appreciate her fun spirit and loving companionship. She does great with people, kids and other dogs, but we do think her youthful puppy energy might be a bit much for smaller children. If you think Sugar Plum might be a good fit for you or you and your family, please put in an application for her.
