Story
SHAKIRA SHAKIRA is the name, though you may call me Shakira. This tail does not lie - I AM happy to make your acquaintance today! I`ll be honest with ya, I can be kinda awkward, but my friends say it`s in the most delightful way. I hop around like a little squirrel, and I`m learning how to play like a regular dog. Sometimes I`ll mistake human arms as my toys (it`s not my fault they look like noodles), but I`m learning how to be redirected to my squeaky toys. I am very curious of other dogs but may get overwhelmed when they play too rough with me, but I think I could do well with another respectful friend. I`ve gotten very brave on a leash and enjoy going for car rides and nature hikes with my volunteer friends. I hope you will take the time to get to know me and help me continue learning how to dog. I can`t wait to meet you!

Story
We found Blue while walking in a local park about two years ago. She was very skinny and had no microchip but was incredibly sweet. She quickly became a part of our family and loves to cuddle with anyone. About a year ago, another dog we named Hank, wondered up to our house in bad shape. She helped him to heal and they quickly became best friends and are inseparable now. We would love to find a home for the two of them as they play very well together and love to be active. They would do great in an active household that can provide exercise and mental stimulation. Blue needs an experienced owner as she is incredibly smart and athletic. She can jump a 5 foot fence and loves to run. She will also countersurf if given the chance. Check out my bestie, Hank! https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/43833351-palatka-florida-hound-unknown-type-mix
