Story
This beautiful, 95-pound chunky girl arrived at OCAS. Unfortunately, the catalyst for her arrival here at the shelter is very unfortunate. Trigger warning: suicide. From what we understand from law enforcement, her owner lit their apartment on fire and committed suicide. It seems the attempt may have been to harm the dog through this endeavor as well, but the fire was able to be put out. Dallas has come out of her shell since arriving to our sanctuary. She desires to be with her human as much as possible and despite her age (8 years young), is extremely playful. Dallas is a professional at fetch. She loves toys and stuffed animals. She is very food motivated, as you can clearly see. She is on a weight loss journey. Dallas is good with other dogs but we have no clue how she is with children or cats. She is vaccinated and spayed. She is healthy. She is scheduled to have a regular wellness exam (which is scheduled) and after that, she will be ready to go to her forever home. This dog is extremely special and whoever makes her apart of their family is very lucky. Adopt Dallas today! https://www.charliescornersanctuary.com/adopt ##2213513##

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Beth is an affectionate possible collie/black lab mix. She’s approx. 1 1/2 years old, 22 pounds, and full of energy. Beth tends to be a bit shy when you first meet her but quickly comes out of her shell. She is very playful, loves running around the fenced yard with her toys and chasing her fur siblings. She tends to be quieter in the house where you can find her in a dog bed chewing a bully stick or snuggled on the couch with any person she can find to lay with. Beth loves other dogs and gains confidence from them. She would do best in a home with another friendly, confident fur sibling. And because she loves to run and frequently has the zoomies, a home with a fenced yard is a must. Beth is crate trained, walks well on a leash and is very good on car rides. She is housebroken as long as she is let out frequently. She will go to the back door when she needs to go potty. Beth has also been very good with children but because of her puppy like behavior she might overwhelm a young, small child. So older, quieter children would be a better match. Beth is just a silly, sweet, affectionate little girl who would love to find her forever family. If you think she would be a great addition to your family, and you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area, please fill out an application and tell us about yourself.  &#226&#128&#139February 12, 2025, 3:39 pm
