Story
Monty is a 5-year-old Red Heeler with a heart full of affection and a protective streak. This smart and energetic boy thrives in an active home where he can channel his energy and intelligence into fun activities and playtime. Monty is a loyal companion who loves his people and enjoys snuggling up for some cuddle time once he's had a chance to burn off his energy. As a breed, Red Heelers are known for their high energy and strong protective instincts, and Monty is no exception. He does well with some dogs outside the home but can be territorial and protective of his space, so he'd be happiest as the only pet in a home. He is not suited for a home with children, as his protective nature may make him uncomfortable around unfamiliar situations or people. Monty needs a confident, experienced owner who understands the breed's instincts and can provide him with structure, mental stimulation, and lots of exercise. He can be a bit cautious around new people, especially in his home, but once he bonds with you, he'll be your loyal protector and best friend. His intelligence makes him highly trainable, and he's always eager to please. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate, and protective companion who will reward your patience and dedication with loyalty and love, Monty might be the perfect match for you.

Story
Banner is a spunky dude who loves people. He gets along well with other dogs and has been good around kids. Banner came to us from a cruelty seizure of over 50 dogs. While he didn't have a great start, he has a love for life and is excited for the next chapter. Due to his previous living situation, he will likely need work on housebreaking, crate training, as well as basic skills like walking on a leash.
