Another young stray pup wandering on the streets of Los Angeles, CA. The number of dogs needing homes and rescues is overwhelming, as so many of you know. We are just getting to know Sadie, but here’s what we know so far: she is about 50 lbs, is maybe a year old, her face and ears are giving definite Australian Kelpie vibes (that is no an option on picking a breed on this site), she likes fetch, and has been super sweet with everyone so far. She is spayed, utd on shots, and ready and excited to learn and please. We do require visits here to our rescue in Agua Dulce, CA, and in-person home checks for all adoptions. Story
Taters owner was going to surrender him to the animal shelter so he is with us well we search for a forever home. Tater is a very sweet boy who gets along with other dogs, cats, and children. He is high energy and likes to play and go on walks and hikes, but can settle down for a snuggle. He is house broken and kennel trained. He has also learned sit, lay down, stay, and shake and picks up on commands quickly. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines.

Sex: MaleBreed: Australian Cattle Dog xEstimated Date of Birth : 04/28/2024Looking for a staff favorite? Well you definitely need to meet Peter! Sweet and mild mannered this little guy is quickly winning everyone’s hearts. He’s very affectionate and loves everyone he’s met both human and dog alike. All of these qualities mean he’s the perfect fit for our Pawsitive Change program and he’ll be joining the crew at Tehachapi State prison. We’re pretty sure he’s going to quickly become a favorite there as well! As wonderful as Peter is he found himself at risk at our County Shelter. Picked up as a stray he lingered for almost a month. No one came for him and no one wanted to adopt him. With so many other dogs residing at the shelter hoping for a home Peter didn’t stand much of a chance of making it out alive. We are giving him the chance he desperately needed and Peter has never looked back! Peter will spend the next 3 months gaining basic obedience skills while he’s in prison. He’ll be adoption reach when he graduates and we’d love to find him a forever home with another dog to pal around with. He really enjoys playing with his canine buddies and a home with another dog would make him the happiest. This sweet boy is guaranteed to win your heart.
