Story
I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereMeet Paloma, the one-of-a-kind deaf pup who is sure to steal your heart with her stunning blue eyes and unique combination of 5 different breeds (Australian Cattle Dog, GSG and Husky to name the main ones), as shown in her DNA test results. This girl is full of confidence and is a quick learner. She loves going for car rides and gets excited as soon as she sees her harness. Paloma is a social butterfly who adores meeting new people and soaking up all the love and attention. Paloma is already a pro at crate training and potty training and is a bundle of joy with a tail that never stops wagging. She is currently mastering leash skills and enjoys going on pack walks in a quiet neighborhood, where she can show off her playful side. Paloma loves her dog foster siblings and even though she's surrounded by four giant Northern breeds that are over 80 pounds, she is adapting well and learning how to communicate with them. Paloma is in search of a forever home with at least one other playful dog, where she can continue to grow and thrive. She will do best in a quiet area where she's got a yard to romp in, as busy places can be overwhelming for her. As a high-energy, intelligent working breed mix, Paloma requires regular exercise and mental stimulation. She is 3 years old and weighs 47 pounds. If you're looking for a special companion that will bring love and excitement to your life, Paloma is the one for you! Follow Paloma's foster journey with @the_skyline_pack on Instagram. Story
I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereThis sweet 5-month-old pup is ready to find his forever home! Sarge is a loyal and affectionate boy who bonds quickly with his people. He loves to follow you around, sit close, and get cozy during cuddle time. Sarge is already off to a great start with his potty training and basic commands like “sit” and “come here.” He’s a curious little explorer who enjoys sniffing around outside and is well-behaved indoors. He’s got a gentle, easygoing nature, though he's still a bit nervous about surprises like loud noises or new experiences. He’ll need adopters who are patient and ready to provide structure, training, and positive socialization. This young guy is crate-trained for short periods, but he’d rather snuggle up in bed at night. Leash training will be a work in progress, as Sarge is still getting used to walks and car rides, but he’s a smart boy and will thrive with the right guidance. Sarge is looking for a loving, patient family who can help him grow into the confident and happy dog he’s destined to be. If you're ready to offer him lots of love, training, and guidance, he’s sure to be the loyal companion you've been waiting for! Follow his foster adventures @adopt.asher.sarge.good.boy on Instagram. I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog I:3When you meet Bouncehouse you’ll know why she earned her name. This 10 month old cattle dog mix prances around with pure joy and delight. Unbridled joy when she meets people, when she gets to play with her dog friends, when she spots a toy. All of the above for this active girl! In return, Bouncehouse will entertain you with her silly antics and neverending cuddles. Ready to bring an adventurous sidekick into your life?
