Story
FOSTER CARE! Hello, my name is Bebe and I'm a 4 year old, spayed, smooth collie/German shepherd mix that currently weighs about 54 lbs. I'm an affectionate girl that starts off on the timid side. Once I'm comfortable, I enjoy belly rubs and daily walks! I'm hoping for a quiet home that understands that I am a wonderful, but sensitive lady who will need time to adjust into a new setting. Once I'm settled, I'm the epitome of good etiquette. I am calm and demure, most of the time. I've been known to be a fence climber when I want to be with my people. I love the game of chase! Especially with small critters like birds and squirrels so I prefer to be the only pet in the household. My foster family says I'm crate trained (I sleep there at night) and I've had minimal accidents in the house. I'm also a pro at sitting for treats! For more information, just ask Customer Service about Bebe! ID# A946402 Since I’m not at the adoption center, you can make arrangements to meet me by emailing your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to behavior@phs-spca.org and a staff member will call you to conduct a phone interview before making an appointment to meet me in person. You must be 18 or older to submit a profile.  Application: https://phs-spca.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/AdoptionProfiles_dog2023_fillin.pdf *The application may not work on mobile devices and iPads. Story
Hello world! My name is Apollo, I'm a 6 month old, neutered male Smooth Collie/Shepherd mix, who currently weighs around 44lbs., but I'm still growing and could be between 75 to 85 lbs. as an adult. I'm a happy, energetic young boy that is just the sweetest of all time! I'm an active guy who absolutely loves to run zoomies in the yard. I'm super smart too! I already know 'sit' and 'shake', but of course I could learn lots more and can't wait to go to class with my new best friend. I'm still working on politely meeting new doggy friends and hope my new family can help me become the nice courteous young gentleman I know I can be.  Apollo ID#A956273Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Introducing Tucker, the lovable and delightfully goofy collie! With his endearingly sweet nature and a heart of gold, what he lacks in smarts, he more than makes up for with his infectious enthusiasm and playful spirit. His charming antics and hilarious shenanigans will keep you smiling and giggling all day long. Tucker is proof that sometimes the best companions are the ones who bring joy and laughter into your life, even if they do it in their own wonderfully silly way. Story
Everyone meet Merle, a 2 year male old border collie mix. Merle is a super sweet and loving border collie mix who loves his people. Merle needs room to run and would be best suited for a home with a big yard. Merle came to us as a medical dog with a big gash on the side of neck. He is all healed up and took the injury in stride. Merle loves to play with other dogs but much prefers people but would love a dog brother or sister The following must-have's for Merle -big fenced yard -patience for a young dog mind -time -herding dog experience -active -home often Bonus: another dog to play with No on the following; condos or town homes ex Merle is on the lankier side for a border collie..but still only weighs about 40 lbs or so. He does have young dog energy and does need to learn some manners but it's all good natured. He would also be best suited for someone that can handle a medium/large dog. He is very eager to please and bonds deeply with his people. Loves all people and most dogs he meets! Merle loves car rides, is good on leash, a gentlemen in public and just an all-around good dog. He does have some separation anxiety but once in a routine, it gets much better. Crate training is recommended as he loads up in the crate with ease. Merle is healthy, neutered, chipped and all up-to-date on vaccines If he sounds perfect for you, please fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family.
