Sunshine has been looking for a home for 278 DAYS!!! Sunshine was found in a storm drain in CA. This was the 3rd time he had ended up in the shelter. This time, his owners didn't want him back and he was going to be euthanized. Sunshine is the life of the party! Pony hopping up and down the yard, any chance he gets. He is a wildly intelligent dog. He is a big fan of other dogs, that are gentle with him. His energy is unlike anything we've ever felt. He's a very special boy. Someone described him as a "new soul" and that connected all the pieces, that's exactly what it feels like! He is almost completely deaf and has some vision impairment, more so affecting him at night. Sunshine has a smaller forebrain and cerebellum than most dogs, causing a slight wobble and unsteady gait. He just looks like he's had a few too many drinks! He's completely self-sufficient and can move and potty on his own. He loves to pickup stuffed animals and toss them around! His disability doesn't get in his way whatsoever! As far as we know, Sunny was born like this. He LOVES napping and being glued on to your lap on the couch. He's the sweetest and quietest boy we've only heard him bark less than 5 times and its the cutest noise you will ever hear. Pics don't do him justice, he's very small and loves to be carried around. Meet Sophie, a spirited senior dog with a love for long walks in the park. Sophie walks very well on a leash and struts her stuff in public like she owns the place. She does well with meeting new people and does even better if they have a few treats in their hands. She does get a little anxious when she is left alone and hoping to find someone that understands. Sophie does have a few requests and prefers to be an only animal, as she does thrive being the only furry companion in your heart. However, if you are looking to give a home to two dogs.
