Sunshine has been looking for a home for 278 DAYS!!! Sunshine was found in a storm drain in CA. This was the 3rd time he had ended up in the shelter. This time, his owners didn't want him back and he was going to be euthanized. Sunshine is the life of the party! Pony hopping up and down the yard, any chance he gets. He is a wildly intelligent dog. He is a big fan of other dogs, that are gentle with him. His energy is unlike anything we've ever felt. He's a very special boy. Someone described him as a "new soul" and that connected all the pieces, that's exactly what it feels like! He is almost completely deaf and has some vision impairment, more so affecting him at night. Sunshine has a smaller forebrain and cerebellum than most dogs, causing a slight wobble and unsteady gait. He just looks like he's had a few too many drinks! He's completely self-sufficient and can move and potty on his own. He loves to pickup stuffed animals and toss them around! His disability doesn't get in his way whatsoever! As far as we know, Sunny was born like this. He LOVES napping and being glued on to your lap on the couch. He's the sweetest and quietest boy we've only heard him bark less than 5 times and its the cutest noise you will ever hear. Pics don't do him justice, he's very small and loves to be carried around. We got Fluffy from a pet store in Georgia. He has AKC papers. He is 6 years old born on January 28, 2018. He is friendly and loving and needs lots of cuddles and attention. He loves walks and hikes. He loves kids and other dogs. We just don’t have the resources (time and money) to take good care of him. I have an autistic child that I homeschool and a toddler and I just don’t have time for Fluffy anymore. Which is unfair to him and he deserves a family or buddy that loves him and can take good care of him. Cons: He does have a sensitivity stomach. And he is a counter surfer.

I had Dennis with me. Now he is so scared of our neighborhood. It's not his fault at all.

Eloise is about 12 months old and 32 pounds. She is sweet, well-mannered, and a joy to have around. Eloise is a bit shy at first but with a little time, she makes friends and enjoys affection. She has a lovely medium energy and is an independent girl. She isn't pushy or needy and co-exists nicely in her foster home. Walking, trips in the car and toys are some of her favorite things. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them but can also live as an only dog. Good with children over 6 years old as she is sensitive to loud, abrupt noises.
