Story
Where is my forever home? Someone either hurt me in Mexico or I got injured and my acupuncturist says I have trauma in my head and spine. I have come SUCH A LONG WAY! Archie's my name, playing on the beach is my game! Along with walking and hiking! Fetching balls from the water! I'm fine w cats, dogs my size and smaller best and can also be an only dog. I'm EASY and a good 1st time adoptive dog or someone familiar w rescue dogs who have experienced some stuff. I walk well on leash and am potty trained too. Come meet me at Petsmart Sat Oct 26th, noon to 4pm during National Adoption Week! I pretend to have no personality at adoption events so I get bypassed time and time again but I am a GOOD BOY. Apply at Streetsavvydogrescue.org Or text w questions. 971-303-9415 Meet Archie from Guadalajara, Mexico! Archie is a cute possibly cocker spaniel meets scruffy terrier kinda mix! Archie's ideal home would be more on the calm, quiet side of life ; probably adult-only home. Archie is fine around other dogs but is somewhat ambivalent about them so can be an only dog or with another chill dog. His cat interactions in his current Milwaukie, Oregon foster home are a bit on the too interested spectrum of behavior but it's possible he could go to a home with a dog-savvy cat who will correct him. Archie is suited for apartment life as well! He seems to like people more than animals too. Archie weighs around 30 lbs, is 20 months old, is neutered and UTD on shots and preventatives. A Fi microchip will be sent with adopter for a vet to insert as Mexico doesn't currently have a microchip system. Adoption fee includes a leash, harness and Martingale collar, one month of preventatives and a toy. Archie would be fine with a first-time adopter as an only pet too!
