Story
Meet Moses! He is a 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel mix. He will need an experienced adopter as he can bite and redirect on you without warning. He needs to be in an adult only home, preferably with a woman. He is protective of his person and is not fond of most people. He does not like to have more than one person to share his affection with. He will need a quiet home without too much stimulation or people coming and going. He is a happy boy who needs strict consistency. He loves female dogs and would love to be in a home with one to play with. He needs a home with a yard, no apartment living for him. He walks well on a leash, is potty trained, crate trained and knows basic commands. Moses is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
Picture a sweet Southern “meemaw” sitting in her rocking chair on the front porch, sipping iced tea, knitting, and declaring, “Well bless your heart!” while watching neighbor’s antics. That describes sweet Dolly, a 14 yo cocker spaniel. She was beloved by her owner from the time she was a puppy until the owner’s death. The family did not want to keep her, so God’s Dogs Rescue stepped in to give this precious dog a soft place to land during her golden years. Her matted fur was shaved, giving her an amazing glow up. She was started on appropriate medications, and showered with love. Dolly is a bit hard of hearing, sleeps a lot, takes her meals very seriously, enjoys sitting/napping in the sunshine, being brushed & petted. Are you willing to welcome this sweetheart into your home to spoil? Local adoption fee is $200(in TX)Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Meet Billy! Name: BillyAge: 2 yearsGender: MaleWeight: 21.9 kg / 48.2 lbsBreed: Cocker Spaniel Mix Health & Care Spayed/Neutered: Yes Vaccinated: Yes Heartworm: Negative Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: Not yet, but adaptable with guidance Social Skills Dogs: Gets along best with smaller or submissive dogs. Larger or dominant dogs can intimidate him. Kids: Hasn’t lived with children yet. Cats: Hasn’t been around cats. Leash: Walks well on a leash and loves outdoor adventures. Alone Time: Currently lives comfortably with foster dogs. Sleeping: Snoozes in his dog bed with his foster siblings. PersonalityBilly is a sweet, affectionate, and friendly boy who adores people. He’s happiest when he’s getting attention and companionship, and he truly shines on his daily walks or car rides. He’s playful yet gentle, and his calm nature makes him a wonderful companion. Because he can feel uneasy around larger or more dominant dogs, Billy would do best either as the only dog in the home or with a smaller, easygoing companion. Ideal HomeBilly would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can be the center of attention. An active family or individual who enjoys daily walks and outdoor activities would be perfect for him. Above all, he needs a consistent, affectionate environment where he feels safe and loved. Billy’s Rescue StoryBilly was found living in an abandoned lot with his loyal friend Sophie. A kind neighbor occasionally brought them food and water, but others in the area threatened to poison them because they didn’t want stray dogs around. Fearing for their safety, the kind woman who had been helping them reached out for rescue support. Although we were already overwhelmed with other cases, we knew we couldn’t turn our backs on them. With sacrifice and determination, we made room for both dogs — because they deserved a chance at life. Thanks to love and care, Billy is now ready for the forever home he was always meant to have.
