With her warm, soulful eyes and soft, chocolate fur, she brings a touch of sweetness wherever she goes. Though she’s reserved and unsure of her surroundings, you can see the flicker of hope in her demeanor—she wants to trust, she just needs time to learn how. We believe that having a cataract in her left eye, which appears to limit her vision, doesn`t make things any easier for her. She also seems to be hearing impaired. These things make the world around her overwhelming. This shy girl thrives in the company of other dogs and would greatly benefit from having a canine companion in her forever home. They bring her comfort and confidence, helping her navigate the world around her. She is so joyful when they are around, bouncing around the backyard with them. Pumpkin is also good with cats, making her a perfect fit for a multi-pet household. A quiet home with a safe, secure yard is ideal for Pumpkin, where she can explore at her own pace. She may take some time to warm up to humans, but with patience and gentle encouragement, she’ll blossom into the loving companion she’s meant to be.
