Story
Hello, my name is: PumpkinDOB: 09/07/2020Sex/Breed: Spayed female Cocker SpanielWeight: 29.6 lbsFriends: Adults, dogs, cats (kids unknown)Traits: Reserved, gentle, exquisiteRescued From: Breeding kennelRecently rescued from a breeding kennel, Pumpkin is ready to start her new life. With her warm, soulful eyes and soft, chocolate fur, she brings a touch of sweetness wherever she goes. Though she’s reserved and unsure of her surroundings, you can see the flicker of hope in her demeanor—she wants to trust, she just needs time to learn how. We believe that having a cataract in her left eye, which appears to limit her vision, doesn`t make things any easier for her. This shy girl thrives in the company of other dogs and would greatly benefit from having a canine companion in her forever home. They bring her comfort and confidence, helping her navigate the world around her. Pumpkin is also good with cats, making her a perfect fit for a multi-pet household. A quiet home with a safe, secure yard is ideal for Pumpkin, where she can explore at her own pace. She may take some time to warm up to humans, but with patience and gentle encouragement, she’ll blossom into the loving companion she’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a furry friend who needs a little extra love and understanding, Pumpkin is ready to find her forever home. With your help, she’ll learn what it means to be part of a family!Help us continue to step up for dogs like Pumpkin and consider donating towards their medical care: https://secure.givelively.org/donate/all-4-paws-rescueAll our dogs are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting? Story
Zinnia is a 3 year old spayed female cocker/cavalier mix who weighs 22 pounds. This group of dogs were rescued when they were unwanted and needed a new place to call home. As their owner got older, she was doing her best to care for them, but they were not getting the attention they deserved. These dogs are sweet, loving, were raised around kids and they have tested well with other dogs. Story
Brooke is a 6 year old spayed female cocker spaniel who weighs 32 pounds. She was rescued along with another dog from outdoor living and she has never looked back. Brooke was noted to be slightly overweight and we are working hard to help her slim down. She has tested great with other dogs, is learning to walk on a leash and we bet that she would be a total lapdog! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Midge is a 12 year old 23 pound Cocker Spaniel that is eager for her forever home! She was a 'stray' dropped at a local shelter in the worst shape we have seen a dog in quite some time, covered in pee and poop with mats so thick and long we don't know how she was able to move. Midge was suffering from a UTI, ear infections, a mouth full of rotten teeth, and painful eyes that were difficult to look at and she couldn't even see with. It's been a long road of fixing this girl up, but she has been an absolute sweetheart the entire way! Now it's time for her to find a family of her own. Yes Midge is blind and her eyes were removed, but she navigates like a sighted dog would, alerts when she needs to go out and potty, adjusts to her surroundings and routine in less than 24 hours, and never makes a peep. Midge does have allergies that she gets a shot for every 6 weeks, and eats prescription food to ward off ear infections and allergy skin issues which have worked well for her. She only take Proin once a day due to periodically leaking urine from a terrible UTI she had for a long time which caused mild incontinence. Other than that she is completely housetrained and had one of the best personalities ever! She truly is a perfect senior Spaniel looking for a nice warm place with humans to love on her for the rest of her days. Won't you give her a chance? To adopt Midge, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, spay, dental, bilateral enucleation, and all the love you can handle!
