PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.And here’s Jax…the cutest little guy you ever did see! At about 40 pounds, he’s the perfect size! Jax is an absolute sweetheart who loves to cuddle and be right by your side assisting you with whatever you may be doing. He is crate and potty trained with only a few accidents here and there. He walks great on a leash, and knows sit, leave it, drop it, and is respectful of your space. I’d consider him a lower energy pup for 10 months old. He is a Cocker Spaniel mix, about 40 pounds. He gets along great with dogs, cats, and is slow to warm up to humans, but will let you know when he is ready. Jax is a gentle soul who would be best with a family that can give him a warm, nurturing, loving home where he can be himself. Jax does have a very minor cherry eye (prolapsed tear duct) in one eye. It is not significant enough to do surgery and does not interfere with his vision, but does sometimes cause tears from that eye. There is no treatment needed at this time. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. In New England. To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.12/14/24 Josie is a 10 month old cocker spaniel mix. She is the sweetest, most fun loving girl who is great with everyone she meets. She is currently in a home with children (newborn to preschool), cats and other dogs, and she is great with all of them! Josie was part of an accidental litter. When the owners couldn't find her a home they dumped her on a family member, and that is who has her now, but can't keep her. She is mostly kept outdoors but is allowed inside too. She is not quite housetrained yet, but is working on it. It's hard with multiple pets, a newborn baby, and toddler/preschool kids. It's a busy household which makes it difficult to watch her for cues that she needs out to potty. In a home of her own, with a little focused attention, she will learn. Josie and her brother Jax have so much love to offer a family. They just need to find someone to give them a chance! She does a very minor cherry eye (prolapsed tear duct) in one eye. It is not bad enough to need surgery and does not interfere with her vision. There is no treatment needed at this time. Please see the last photo. :Josie is fully vetted and ready to go to a new home now!  *We have more pictures of her on our Facebook or you can email us and we can send more. **A HUGE THANK YOU TO TOM & DENISE FOLEY FOR FULLY SPONSORING PUMPKIN`S ADOPTION FEE IN MEMORY OF THEIR BELOVED PUP, RILEY ** Hello, my name is: PumpkinDOB: 09/07/2020Sex/Breed: Spayed female Cocker SpanielWeight: 29.6 lbsTraits: Reserved, gentle, exquisiteRescued From: Breeding kennel*SPECIAL NEEDS - PUMPKIN IS HEARING AND VISION IMPAIRED*Rescued from a breeding kennel, Pumpkin is ready to start her new life. With her warm, soulful eyes and soft, chocolate fur, she brings a touch of sweetness wherever she goes. Though she’s reserved and unsure of her surroundings, you can see the flicker of hope in her demeanor—she wants to trust, she just needs time to learn how. We believe that having a cataract in her left eye, which appears to limit her vision, doesn`t make things any easier for her. She also seems to be hearing impaired. These things make the world around her overwhelming. This shy girl thrives in the company of other dogs and would greatly benefit from having a canine companion in her forever home. They bring her comfort and confidence, helping her navigate the world around her. She is so joyful when they are around, bouncing around the backyard with them. Pumpkin is also good with cats, making her a perfect fit for a multi-pet household. A quiet home with a safe, secure yard is ideal for Pumpkin, where she can explore at her own pace. She may take some time to warm up to humans, but with patience and gentle encouragement, she’ll blossom into the loving companion she’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a furry friend who needs a little extra love and understanding, Pumpkin is ready to find her forever home. With your help, she’ll learn what it means to be part of a family!Help us continue to step up for dogs like Pumpkin and consider donating towards their medical care: https://secure.givelively.org/donate/all-4-paws-rescueAll our dogs are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting? Story
Chocolate is a 4 year old neutered male cocker spaniel who weighs about 18 pounds. He was rescued as part of a humane case, when they were left in a hot van during the month of August. These dogs were finally surrendered to our care and they are ready to find homes of their own. He has tested well with other dogs, is very social and walks great on a leash. He does have the typical cocker ear issues, but he is very good for medication and ear cleanings weekly. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an adoption application on our website www.justice-rescue.comJustice Rescue - 17663Malvern, PA 19355

Story
Meet Tanya and Trixie-2 very special bonded sisters, spaniel mixes. They are over five years old, and very sweet natured and pleasant. It takes him some time for them to warm up to people. They’re just very shy and are always extremely cautious when being approached by strangers, not in an aggressive way. They both do have allergies which have been being kept under control and are very good at being groomed. They love stuffy squeaky toys, and chewing on Nyla bones. They enjoy going for walks. They are a bonded pair and must go together. One is spayed. The other needs to be spayed prior to adoption. Adult household preferred.

Story
If you are interested in adopting or fostering this dog. Please visit our website - www.cockeradoptions.org   There, you will find the current status of the dog, the links to our adoption and foster applications, and detailed information about our adopting and fostering procedures.   MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Hickory, and I just arrived at CSAC from a shelter. I was found as a stray dog. I do have a Cherry Eye which will be fixed by CSAC. You can see that I do have an under bite which makes me look unique. The CSAC volunteer tried to take me for a walk on a leash, but I just sat there. I didn't know what she wanted me to do so I may need more training with that leash thing. The CSAC volunteer said, "Hickory is a very sweet boy. He loved being held. He was giving kisses to everyone who held him. He just wanted to be close to whomever was holding him. He is a very affectionate pup and he stole everyone's heart." Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will turn me into a happy, cherished pet. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen.
