Story
Sammy is a 11 year old male cocker spaniel.Sammy is an easy-going, well-mannered and loyal puppers looking for a new home. He bonds very closely with his person and follows them everywhere. His big heart and open personality makes him an easy love and a constant companion. His favorite activity is going for walks or just spending time outside. He loves walks through the falling leaves, sniffing his way through the snow, padding through spring puddles, or romping in summer fields. It's best to take things at his pace, considering his age, making Sammy a great outdoor companion for someone older or limited mobility themselves. He's very food motivated and loves his treats, so be sure to have some on hand! Sammy would do well in a home with kids, as well as other dogs. He would not do well in a home with cats.To apply for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture. ~ I can live in a single family home, condos and apartments considered.~ I have not had much experience with children but am willing to consider sharing my home with kids +10 who can be gentle and respectful of pets.~ I have not had much experience with cats or dogs but am willing to consider sharing my home with a furry friend.~ I am a high energy kind of dog and am looking for a home where I can get lots of exercise every day.~ I have medical conditions such as: Bilateral Medial Patella Luxation, where the patella (knee-cap) does not stay in its normal position in the groove on the end of the femur (thigh bone). MPL is a common condition in small dogs and right now it`s only a grade I/IV. Also, I will need a dental cleaning in the future!~ I am so bonded with my friend Shrek that we must go home together!

Shows a lot of affection, wants to be petted, and wags her tail like a helicopter. * Toward Cats: Wants to chase after cats so caution is needed. * Toward Dogs: Likes other dogs but other dogs may find her a little bothersome because she doesn’t know how to play with them. Story
Hi, I’m a handsome Cocker Spaniel mix named Baxter. I am 3 years old, weigh 27.4 lbs, and I was seen dumped in an apartment building parking lot in San Antonio Texas, but it didn't faze me one bit. A nice lady took me in and I eventually wound up in a foster home with 4 Little Paws Rescue where I have made new friends and am having some fun. I’m fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and ready to get this show on the road and find a wonderful future. I am a very sweet boy who makes friends easily with everyone. I’m happy and energetic, my tail always wagging and my favorite activity is playing with my doggy friends. I would be the happiest boy in town to end up with a similar-sized built-in playmate, but I also love attention from my people, and pets, and sharing kisses and I follow my foster mom all over the house while she works. I am well-behaved and housebroken, only having 1 potty accident when I first arrived at my foster home, and I don't ever bark. I walk well on a leash and I’m ok in a car but will want to sit on your lap if I’m not secured in the back, LOL! My future looks bright, and I am so looking forward to joining a wonderful family anywhere on the East Coast! Inquire about me today and bring me home! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
