Story
Hi there, I’m a beautiful silky soft Cockapoo named Skye, born on 11/27/23 in a breeder's home in San Antonio Texas. My dad is a purebred Cocker Spaniel and my mom is a Cockapoo but I turned out looking mostly Cocker Spaniel. I was adopted by a local family when I was a little puppy and very much loved, but with their busy schedules and a year without much attention, I was surrendered to 4 Little Paws Rescue to find a better life. I moved into a foster home, had vaccines, grooming, a spay, and a microchip so now I’m ready to find you!
I am a very sweet girl with gobs of puppy energy, happy and playful, running zoomies through the yard, chewing on chew toys, and playing with my people or my doggy friends. I can be a speck shy at first but quickly make friends and about 5 minutes later I’m ready to share some kisses. I love attention and affection, especially given I didn't get too much in my past, and I’m always ready to flop over for some tummy rubs. I love snuggling beside you or on you whenever possible while watching TV, taking a nap, or just simply getting pets while gazing at you lovingly. I think barking is silly so I rarely do it. I am housebroken and learned how to use a doggy door just by watching the resident dogs in my foster home. I am a cool combination of active and calm, and can be a bit mischievous but I listen extremely well and you can easily tell I strive to please my people. I love the outdoors, don't mind the rain, and will walk on a leash with some encouragement. I love food and treats, carrots, bananas, and cucumbers, and I politely sit to get my bowl of kibble or whatever yummy goodie you offer me. My foster mom says I’m a lovebug, sweet and innocent, silly and playful, always happy with my little nub tail always wagging. I hear the Eastern Seaboard is the place to be so inquire about me today!
