Story
PLAYFUL & SWEET:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 16 lbs. Hi, my name’s Teddy!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control.  The volunteers have been taking great care of me, and I can’t wait to be soaking up the love in my new home – hopefully soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  Though I’ve not officially met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, I have been reactive to some dogs I’ve seen at the shelter.  Perhaps it is just being in the shelter environment, so – if you have a nice doggie already, let’s meet and see if we can be friends. / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a fun and playful lap dog who is as sweet as I am friendly.  They say I have ‘a great spirit’, as I wiggle with happiness when out and about with the volunteers.  During my photo session, I quickly earned the reputation as being ‘lively and cute’.  I bet you will agree! / My energy level is 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University, where I am learning lots of great commands with my trainer.  I already know the ‘sit’ command, and I look forward to learning more, so check back soon to see my progress. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having accidents on the shelter schedule.  Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I enjoy time spent with people and love when they bring out the toys for play time.  My cuddly nature makes me a great snuggle companion when it is time to just chill and soak up the love. / Other than seeming a bit wary of other dogs, I can’t think of any dislikes right now, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I came in pretty matted, so I’ve been groomed.  I had a few baby teeth still, so MM had those pulled for me.  You will notice a large patch of missing fur on my left side.  It’s smooth and seems like possibly a previous burn.  I don’t think I’ll grow my hair back in that area, but it doesn’t bother me and I hope you don’t mind.    I am looking for a wonderful home with a loving furever family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  December 14, 2024, 7:50 am

Story
Home for the Holidays - Reduced Adoption Fees if Adopted by January 10th!    Hi there! I’m a healthy, six-and-a-half-year-old, 42-pound guy with a one-of-a-kind look and a heart full of love. With my sleek black coat, I might look like a small Black Labrador, but my mom was a Cocker Spaniel mix, and my dad was a Cocker Spaniel-Lab mix. Clearly, I got the best of both worlds—good looks and a winning personality! A Little About Me: Personality: Friendly, affectionate, and easygoing. I’m a total “velcro dog” who loves being close to my people, but I’m also fine when left alone in my crate or at home. Training: Fully house and crate-trained with zero accidents—ever! I even sleep soundly in my crate overnight. Currently, I’m working hard on perfecting my leash-walking skills. Energy Level: Medium energy. I enjoy walks, backyard explorations, and spending time outside, but I also love lounging on the couch and snuggling with my family. Family-Friendly: I’ve grown up with kids and get along great with people of all ages. My friendly nature makes me the perfect companion for just about anyone. What I’m Looking For: I’d love a home where I can be part of the action, whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood, a game in the yard, or a relaxing evening with my family. While I’m happiest when I’m with my humans, I’m well-behaved and content in my crate when needed. Why You’ll Love Me: I’m the perfect mix of playful and chill—a loyal, loving companion who’s always happy to be by your side. With my house manners already in place and my sunny disposition, I’m ready to fit seamlessly into your life. If you’re looking for a sweet, medium-sized dog who’s as beautiful inside as he is outside, I’m your guy. Come meet me, and let’s start our next adventure together!
