I came to Big Dog Ranch as a breeder release after spending my whole life in heartbreaking conditions, used over and over for puppies and rarely touched with kindness. I don’t know what it feels like to be part of a family, and I’ve never even had a leash clipped onto me. The world outside my cage is completely new and sometimes scary. It may take me months to understand that hands can be gentle and homes can be safe, but deep down I’m hoping someone will give me the patience and love I’ve never had. With the right person, I know I can finally learn what it means to be more than a number… to be loved.

Chip is a 2-year-old Cocker Spaniel. Due to military life, looking for a loving, stable home. I brought him home at 4 months old, and since his puppy days he has been a lively, playful boy with a huge heart. Personality He's a certified mama's boy, loves to follow around the house like a little shadow. He prefers to eat when someone is nearby, and he will occasionally whine if his favorite humans aren't in sight. You'll get endless loyalty, affection, and companionship. Training & Behavior House trained, potties outside, raised around cats and does great with them, loves to play, especially in big open spaces. Health At 6 months, he had a surgery on both eyes due to a gland issue, and he has had no problems since. Chip is otherwise healthy and active. Why He Needs a New Home I am active-duty military and will be relocation in early 2026. Because of unpredictable demands, I want to ensure Chip has the stability and family interaction he thrives on.

Woody is a 5-year-old Cocker Spaniel with the sweetest heart and the happiest wag. Medium-sized and full of charm, he’s the kind of dog who makes every day brighter just by being himself. Woody is a beach lover through and through — if there’s sand, waves, or a chance to splash around, he’s in heaven. He’s also a big fan of walks, squeaky toys, treats (of course!), and anything that involves food. And yes… he’s an excellent swimmer! Whether it’s a lake, the ocean, or even a kiddie pool, Woody is ready to dive in. At home, he’s a gentle, affectionate companion who enjoys being part of your daily routine. Hi ya, I’m Georgie! I’m a 4-year-old, 26 lb Cocker Spaniel boy, and I’m basically a fun-loving goofball wrapped in a beautiful coat! Let me tell you about myself! I’m the kind of guy who lives life at full speed with maximum enthusiasm. I’m happy, playful, and I LOVE being in your face because you’re just so awesome! When I’m in the yard, I turn into a silly acrobat—I run around like a whirlwind, jump up to get your attention, and chase lizards like it’s my Olympic sport! Spoiler alert: I haven’t caught one yet, but that doesn’t stop me from trying! I’m good with other dogs and would absolutely LOVE an active doggie sibling to match my energy and keep up with all my shenanigans. I have good house manners and I don’t mind the crate. I’m super excited to ride in the car (road trip buddy right here!), and I’m very food motivated, which means training with treats is going to be a breeze for us! Full transparency: I pull on the leash because I just get SO excited about everything, but with some leash training from my new owner, I’ll be walking like a gentleman in no time! Here’s the important stuff: I need a cocker-savvy adopter or family who understands my breed and can handle my high energy and enthusiasm. I’m not a good fit for homes with kids—I need a household that can give me the structure and attention I thrive on.
