Story
Highlights:needs another more confident dog in the homeSalinda is a sweet and timid 19-pound Cocker Spaniel and Bichon mix who is still finding her way in this big new world. She can often be found quietly observing from the corner, unsure about approaching humans just yet. Her gentle eyes tell a story of a girl who wants to trust but needs time to build her confidence.Salinda adores other dogs and finds comfort in their company. She often snuggles with her dog friends, and having a confident dog in her new home could help her continue to come out of her shell.Though she`s still too shy to take treats or seek out pets, Salinda is learning a little more each day that humans can be kind and gentle. She’s a tender soul who will need a patient, loving family willing to give her the time and space she needs to feel safe and secure.Could your calm, patient home be the one to help Salinda blossom? ??--------Before being rescued, many of our dogs have had limited socialization, so they may need a bit of time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog`s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!

Story
Hi I`m Magneto! I came from a home with many other animals and had limited ability to interact with people and other animals that I was housed with. As a result, I am undersocialized with people, animals, novel environments and am looking forward to making up for lost time! I am very treat motivated. So reward-based training is right up my alley. Speaking of training, HSPPR recommends that I work with a behavior professional to aid in my transition into my new home, and discuss a support plan with my very own veterinarian. I will need a slow introduction with the support of a behavior professional to ensure my success with children. Come in and meet me today! I can`t wait to met you!
